Why it is Your Civic Duty to Smoke Dope

by itchyfish

“Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”- JFK

It is your civic duty to smoke dope. Don’t believe me? Well, allow me to persuade you.

When you smoke dope, what happens? You get high, but that isn’t where my argument stems from. What else can happen? You could get caught, right? What happens when you get caught? Well, if it is decriminalized, you get a fine. Then you go to court. You either pay your fine, or ask for community service.

What happens with the money that comes from the fine? It goes back into community. Paying for stuff like the Police and the Justice system, so these excellent people can continue to serve and protect you.
What if your dope smoking indirectly helped to solve a murder? Wouldn’t you feel good about that? I know I would. This is why I choose to smoke pot.

I believe that the Justice System and the Police Department, for the most part, only want to do good and I want to help them in every way I can. So I roll a blunt for justice and light it like the torch on the Statue of Liberty.
For those of you that cannot afford the fine, well to you I say, take community service. Your community needs you to help make it a better place and your dope smoking will allow you to do so.

So take action, smoke a jay and help plant trees (real trees, mind you) in your community or help troubled youths discover their passion and keep them out of trouble. I even encourage youto spark one up as you perform your community service, to further show your support for the community.

I think that dope smoking helps our communities in ways that we may not even know about and I, for one, plan to contribute for years to come and I urge you to do the same.

To paraphrase Charles Dickens: I believe dope smoking has done good and will continue to do good; and I say God bless it!

So roll up your sleeves, roll a jay and help your fellow man. After all, it is your civic duty.

Postscript: This is all done, tongue in cheek. If Marijuana is not decimalized in your area, I do not encourage you to break the law. No good can come from breaking the law. I only urge you to help your community if they have decimalized the use of Marijuana.
