Laughter is an instant vacation and Las Vegas offers you a large variety of Comedy Clubs. There is Comedy of every flavor. Some of the most famous names make their way through this city. They hold their venues from the biggest and lavish showrooms to the small and more personal Comedy Clubs. Just recently Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien came to town with their stand-up comedy show. You will never run out of comedy venues in Las Vegas. Many shows come complete with dinner, drinks, and souvenirs making the entire night a real blast. Gone are the days of Redd Foxx, but there are a lot of new favorites to take his place.
These are some Las Vegas’ comedy regulars I’ve seen lately, that you just can’t miss. These comedians all headline and play nightly shows in Las Vegas. Penn & Tellers’ magic comedy act at the Rio is a must see, with gory, frightening, and hilarious comedic magic. Amazing Johnathan headlines at Planet Hollywood and is another hilarious magic comedy act with audience participation. Kevin Burke in “Defending the Caveman” at the Excalibur is a funny one man comedy show where he makes fun of relationships and also has a show at the Fitzgerald downtown, called “fitz of laughter”.
Carrot Tops’ show at the Luxor has some outrageously funny prop comedy. Cheech & Chong brings their nostalgic comedy act to the Mirage. Frank Caliendos’ show is at the Monte Carlo, who does over 120 fantastic celebrity impersonations that are dead-on funny. George Wallace has been another Las Vegas comedic staple at the Flamingo, who once was a writer for “The Red Foxx Show”. Louie Anderson comedy show “Larger than Life” is very funny. “Fear and Laughing in Las Vegas” featuring Todd Paul at Hooters.
Andrew Dice Clays’ controversial comedy at The Las Vegas Hilton was a blast. The Smother Brothers from the original “The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour” is still making audiences laugh with their musical comedy at the Orleans. Rita Rudner one liners still a hit in Las Vegas playing at Harrahs. Paul Rodriquezs’ Mexican – American comedy was a riot at the Tropicana.
