Homegrown is not elusive in the Pensacola area, it can be found. If you are not a resident or if you are a resident and don’t know where to look, this guide will provide those streets and locations where farmers set up their ware daily. Some may be lucky enough to just happen upon a farmers truck. Others can get their produce by traveling to these little out of the way, loosely traveled areas. Farmers man their stations, display their produce and await your visit.

Now for those who might find the drive a little too long, take a ride down Highway 98 in Pensacola. Along the way, you can find a few farmers with their individual wares such as strawberries, tomatoes and even collards or turnips at times. On the northern end of town, drive down North W Street. Along that route, individual farmers have their truck ladled with veggies and fruits. Towards Perdido Key, off Sorrento Road, a regular site is a truck set up right past the Winn Dixie Supermarket. Grapefruit, watermelons, tomatoes and numerous other veggies and fruit is displayed for you to purchase. They have a variety based on whatever is in season at the time.
