Cattaraugus County Fair – Monday through Sunday, August 2nd through 8th at the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds, 501 Erie St. in Little Valley. Featuring Midway with rides and games, agricultural events, vendors, food, and grandstand events including Billy Currington (August 5th). Niagara County Fair – Wednesday through Sunday, August 4th through 8th at the Niagara County Fairgrounds, 4487 Lake Ave. in Lockport. Features Antique Tractor Parade (August 4th – 7 p.m.), rides and games, Arts and Crafts Show (August 7th and 8th), live music, vendors, food, exhibits, and more. Eden Corn Festival – Thursday through Sunday, August 5th through 8th on Legion Dr. in Eden. Features Jarod Miller’s Animal Show (August 5th – 6:30 p.m.), Tractor Pull (August 6th – 6 p.m.), Car Show (August 8th – noon), Arts and Crafts Show (August 7th and 8th), live music, rides and games, food, and more. St. Leo’s Lawn Fete – Friday through Sunday, August 6th through 8th at St. Leo the Great, 885 Sweet Home Rd. in Amherst. Erie County Fair – Wednesday, August 11th through Sunday, August 22nd at the Hamburg Fairgrounds, 5600 McKinley Pkwy. in Hamburg. Scottish Festival and Highland Games – Saturday, August 21st from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Amherst Museum, 3755 Tonawanda Creek Rd. in Amherst. Features the annual Amateur and Professional Scottish Highland Games, and the Heavy Events Junior World Championships, plus pipe bands, live music, demonstrations, food, and vendors. Buffalo Irish Festival – Friday through Sunday, August 27th through 29th at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. Entertainment, food and beverage, bilingual mass (Sunday at 10 a.m.), Parade of the 32 County Flags of Ireland (Friday at 5:30 p.m.), raffles, and more.
