Waxing Vs. Shaving Vs. Hair Removal Creams- What is the quickest, least expensive, and longest lasting? Here is the low-down on happy hair removal. We will compare all 3 and find out the pro’s and con’s of each.

Shaving is probably the most common, the quickest, and the least expensive, but by comparison it lasts for the least amount of time. Hair Removal Creams are a little more time consuming but promise to last longer than shaving. Waxing is probably the most expensive, most time consuming, but definitely lasts the longest.

So which is the best ? With all the new products on the market its hard to know, and did you know that some products shouldn’t be used in certain areas at all?

Shaving can be the best option for some and the worst for others. For women that must shave everyday, it can be time consuming and seem like a huge chore. Not to mention it can be embarrassing if you don’t have the time to do it everyday.

The flip side of shaving, is that you can have a fresh smooth shave everyday unlike the wait time in between waxes or hair removal creams. Shaving is generally best for legs, underarms, and bikini areas.

Many women prefer using hair removal creams or lotions that you apply and leave on for a period of time and then rinse or wipe off. There are many different brands on the market today and some are even made for sensitive skin.

These products can have an odor and be a little more time consuming than shaving, but most say being hair-free longer is worth it. These products can be used on most of your body but must be used cautiously around bikini area.

For most women, ripping your hair out with sticky paper doesn’t seem like that much fun but some women say it is the way to go. Waxing definitely takes the longest, is the most expensive, and has some pain involved, but it lasts for weeks. The first couple of months, it may seem like a pain in the butt and you will have “in between growth” which most women don’t like.

But if you can stick with it for a couple of months, the hair gets softer, and thinner, and eventually grows less and less. Before you know it you will only need to wax every 6 to 8 weeks. Waxing is great on all areas of the body but must be used very carefully around the bikini area.

So now that we have weighed out the pro’s and con’s, you decide which one is best for you. If you are unhappy with your current method, have an open mind, and try something new!
