Another product I was given from the dermatologist office was Vaseline Intensive Rescue Clinical Therapy Skin Protectant Body Lotion. The name of this product takes up the whole of the front, of my 1.69 fluid ounce (50 ml) bottle.
I enjoy Vaseline products, as they always work well, and have a great reputation.
Living in Florida we can get ‘alligator’ skin. No, I am not being funny, but with the heat our skin does dry out. Also because we are both getting older, our skin tends to get rougher, and needs more attention.
So I figure that Vaseline Intensive Rescue would be something to try. The small sample bottle looks exactly the same as the bigger ones. It is white, and has a plastic see though top.
I turned the top, and it came off quickly, so body lotion splashed around me. I just used my fingers to pick it up, and I applied it to my neck area, that was dry and itching. I then squeezed the pure white body lotion from the open top. It is thick for a body lotion.
The body lotion has a very light, appealing fragrance to it. It rubbed in so easily, and didn’t feel at all greasy. I continued using it, and by body felt great when I was finished. My skin felt soft and hydrated.
Checking my arms 4 hours later they still felt soft, and full of moisture.
Next I went swimming for 45 minutes, came out, and dried myself. My skin still felt hydrated. Even when it was time for bed my body still felt soft, and smooth.

Because I fell in love with this product, as it stopped the itching and dryness immediately, I decided to buy a a 6.8 ounce size. I had a $2 coupon, so was able to pick it up for under $5. This is a great deal because it only has to be applied a.m. I find it lasts all day, and all night long. It does state to apply as needed, but using it more often seems a waste to me.
Len has tried it on his cracked feet, from the diabetic neuropathy, and the cracks are lines now, and instead of his feel being rough, they are now smooth. What more could I ask of a product.
It beats paying over $30 for the Rx cream his podiatrist prescribes.
