Dancing with the Stars Season 10 is down to the final 7 dancers. Who do you think will take home the coveted mirror ball? Evan Lysacek and Nicole Scherzinger have been battling it out week after week for the number one spot. This week, odds makers have Evan at even odds but Nicole is a close second at 2 to 1 to win Dancing with the Stars.
Dancing with the Stars – Evan Lysacek
Odds to win: even odds
Evan Lysacek and his partner, Anna Trebunskaya were my picks from the start of the season. As a competitive Olympic ice skating, Evan knows the importance of stage performance as well as how to carry his body. He still has a bit of a ways to go with technique but each weeks makes great strides.
Dancing with the Stars – Nicole Scherzinger
Odds to win: 2 to 1
Nicole Scherzinger has a dancing background so I feel she has an unfair advantage over the other contestants. When you watch her perform with her partner, Derek Hough, they look like one of the professional couples demonstrating a style of dance. I will be disappointed if she wins Dancing with the Stars.
Dancing with the Stars – Chad Ochocinco
Odds to win: 10 to 1
Chad Ochocinco and his partner, Cheryl Burke, have lasted longer than I anticipated. I have a feeling Niecy Nash will be going home this week but I would prefer it to be Chad.
Dancing with the Stars – Erin Andrews
Odds to win: 10 to 1
Erin Andrews is another Dancing with the Stars contestant with a dancing background but not to the extent of Nicole. Erin’s experience comes from being a member of her college dance team which is an entirely different style of dance as compared to ballroom. Erin is a strong competitor but I’m not sure she has the fan base to make it to the finale.
Dancing with the Stars – Pamela Anderson
Odds to win: 25 to 1
Pamela Anderson has been improving each week, especially when she actually follows the style of dance. Her partner, Damian Whitewood, is also doing an excellent job as a first-time professional on Dancing with the Stars. I don’t see Pamela winning in the end but she’ll hang on longer than most expect.
Dancing with the Stars – Jake Pavelka
Odds to win: 20 to 1
As I’ve mentioned before, Jake Pavelka’s 15 minutes of fame were up a long time ago. He’s actually improving as a dancer on the show and lasted longer than I predicted. And I do like his partner, Chelsie Hightower. But I’m done with seeing Jake, so he must go and soon.
Dancing with the Stars – Niecy Nash
Odds to win: 50 to 1
Even though Niecy Nash is not a great dancer, I enjoy watching her on the show. She brings a different element and is fun to watch. Her partner, Louis Van Amstel, is a veteran of the show and has helped her to be competitive each week. Unfortunately, I think she may be gone this week or next.
Dancing with the Stars airs Monday and Tuesday nights 8/7c on ABC.
