When a friend gives a personal recommendation on a product it always means more to me than any commercial or magazine ad. Such was the case when a friend told me about a “new”product called TriDerma MD Intense Fast Healing Multi-Purpose Healing Cream. I asked him if this cream was new, or simply new to him, and he said it was new to him.
His wife bought it at Fred Meyer, and he said it worked great on some cuts and scrapes that he had gotten on his arms and legs. This friend was in his 60’s, and I figured he has been around the block more than once, and if he was saying this is the best healing cream he has ever used, it was definitely worth looking for it and adding it to my medicine cabinet.
The TriDerma Healing Cream comes in a green and white box (this description from my friend helped me identify this product in the store). There is an incredible amount of helpful information on the outside of the box, letting the consumer know that this cream contains no cortisone or parabens, that it contains no fragrance (therefore no chemical perfumes), that it is not greasy, and that it contains a special blend of aloe. The cream can be used for a variety of skin conditions, including cuts, scrapes, rashes, blisters, sunburn, burns, and other “hard to heal” skin conditions.
The cream contains an organic aloe, vitamins, minerals and botanical ingredients to make it an effective healing cream. Because it does not contain any cortisone, it can be used liberally and often. I have had cortisone cream prescribed by my dermatologist, and he always tells me to use it very sparingly because the cortisone will actually absorb into the skin and get into the bloodstream. With this cream I don’t have to worry about that!
Not only will this cream heal, but it claims to reduce any swelling, work to keep bacteria in check, and it can also help relieve pain. The vitamins that it contains are A, B, D, and E. The zinc and oat protein claim to not only heal but they claim these ingredients have a calming effect on the skin.
My only complaint about using TriDerma Healing Cream is that it contains petrolatum, and I generally like to avoid products that contain petrochemical ingredients. In this case, the product works so well, and contains so many other botanical, healing ingredients that it is worth the sacrifice.
I have long liked the benefits of cortisone creams, but have never liked the warning that I received from my dermatologist about their use. This TriDerma Healing Cream gives me the powerful healing agents without using cortisone! You have to try this product to believe it. It does not say that it works well on mosquito bites, but it does. Not only does it help relieve the pain and itch, but it helps the sores heal quickly. I think I am slightly allergic to mosquito bites, because when I get bitten my skin swells up and turns red, and it stays red and swollen for as long as a week. This never happens to my husband, so I think I have an extreme allergic reaction. The cream works well on these and heals them up in as little as two days instead of a week!
If you like the benefits of cortisone but don’t like putting it into your body, I would recommend your trying the TriDerma Healing cream.
