The staff is pleasant too. Rates start around $27 a night. Cube Hotel is on Jalan Pudu in the Bukit Bintang area of Kuala Lumpur.
Swiss Inn Hotel – Swiss Inn is a large budget hotel with 110 rooms and is located slap bang in the middle of Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur. Rooms are basic and a bit old-fashioned, but clean and quiet. The hotel has a Terrace Cafe and the Cafe Petaling, where you can enjoy a quick snack or a meal. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is comprised of a small buffet with both Chinese and western choices, as well as coffee or tea. Rates start at $40 a night on up. Tune Hotel – A new venture by Air Asia is the budget Tune Hotel. It’s a five minute walk away from the Medan Tuanku monorail station, and offers small, yet comfortable rooms. Rates, however, are dirt cheap – beginning at only $11 a night for a single room so, even with all the extras, you don’t pay more than $25 a night. You’ll find Tune Hotel on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman in KL.
