The popularity of viral videos changes more quickly than you can change your mind. Some of the first viral videos, like the infamous dancing baby, hang around for a long time, but hundreds of new videos are posted daily. Once a new video takes hold, it will make the rounds.
The good ones get forwarded to you by everyone who has your email address. You know…you forward them too. It’s fun to share laughter, parody, and nonsense.

Top Viral Internet Videos – Language – “This is Alabama, we speak English”
Usually, the best viral videos are funny. Sometimes a moment of tragedy or triumph is unexpectedly captured giving a video a place in history, like Sullenberger’s heroic landing of US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River. During election cycles sometimes a viral video is borne of a candidate or campaign manager who is either a genius or an idiot.
One of the current top viral videos has been created compliments of Alabama’s gubernatorial race.
Tim James, candidate for governor of Alabama, filmed a short commercial that has caused a stir. The video became viral when the national news picked up the story because it hits close to other racial fires that are already burning in the U.S. surrounding immigration issues.
James champions English as the official language of Alabama. Good timing. Why not stick your foot in the mire of racial and ethnic issues at just the wrong time? Is this déjà vu? I’m thinking Wallace; 1963.
Frankly, many people in Alabama speak their own dialect of the English language. “Wanna” take another look at the “Language” video and see what I mean.
It’s actually ironic. I am a conservative from over yonder in Alabama, but I find the commercial tasteless. Furthermore, if James doesn’t want to license drivers in Alabama who can’t read English, he better come up with a transportation plan or lay out a tax plan to support the immigrants who will be unable to get a job.
Which would you rather do, as a “businessman?” Pay to have the test printed in “tuh-welve” different languages or support those whose livelihood depends on their being able to “duh-rive” to and from a job?
I would like to thankTim James for creating one more public disgrace for the wonderful state of Alabama, and Alabama ain’t that bad ya’ll.
Top Viral Internet Videos – Evian’s Roller Babies

If the first viral video frustrated you, like it did me, this one will make you smile!
Top Viral Internet Videos – Forever 21 Haul with Elle and Blair
Sisters Elle and Blair, also known as allthatglitters21 and Juicystar07, have made a raging start in their episodic videos of shopping at Forever 21. Two college girls raving about their shopping trips to Forever 21 is not particularly appealing to me, and it falls outside of what is normally considered viral video.
However, teens and young adults use the internet extensively for fashion tips and shopping advice and that is exactly what Elle and Blair offer…if you shop at Forever 21.
The gist of the viral video is a replay of the girls’ shopping trips, showing what they purchased, including accessories.
So, how did these two young ladies go viral among the myriad of Youtube.com videos? Apparently they were seen by the producers of Good Morning America, who shadowed them shopping and producing their Youtube video. Since their appearance on Good Morning America copy-cat shoppers have posted videos, but they can’t compete with Blair and Elle.
The girls are in high school and appeal to a large demographic of young female shoppers. Judging from comments on the Blair and Elle Forever 21 Haul Youtube videos, girly girls who enjoy shopping and style think of Blair and Elle as fashionistas and follow their style choices like the two high school girls are fashion gurus.
Go figure, you never know what is going to make a video go viral. This is an odd one, but teens love to surf the web for advice. Blair and Elle fit the bill.
Enjoy these viral videos. Share the ones you like with your friends, and above all stay tuned, new viral videos could be emerging this very minute.
