It’s Almost Back-to-School time already! Have you done your shopping yet?
While some parents are saying, “Yippee”, those who hate the dreaded back to school shopping are not. We are usually given a list to go off of, but deciding which brand and which color can prove rather challenging, especially if you have a girl. Even more so if you have a 7 year old girl that is going on 16.
They want to look cool and have a place for all of their stuff, and you don’t want to spend a fortune. I went on a mission to find the best backpacks for elementary school girls, without breaking the bank and this is what I found.
The first stop on my list was Walmart, who is known for their great prices. They have a huge selection of backpacks for kids, from plain mesh backpacks to the latest characters backpacks, even backpacks with wheels. Most of these backs are available on-line, as well as in your local neighborhood Walmart.

These were the best places to buy backpacks that I found, based on; their large selection of backpacks (in case your kids are picky), their low prices (under $20), and for their convenience (buy at store or online).
I went to several other stores that had cute backpacks including Office Depot (expensive- average backpack $35), Pottery Barn Kids(limited selection, expensive- average backpack $30-40, Old Navy (great prices but very limited selection), GAP (great prices but very limited selection), and JCPenney (great prices but limited selection). All of these were missing one of the three qualities I found at Walmart and Target.
Hopefully this list will help out and make your back-to-school shopping a little easier this year . Maybe a little less expensive too!
