Tiny & Toya had its Season 2, Episode 4 premiere on BET Tuesday night. Tameka Cottle and Antonia Carter were greatly focused on the opening of Tiny’s Nail Bar. Season 2, Episode 4 of Tiny & Toya also focused on Carter starting to come to terms with her mother’s departure. As usual, the half hour program sailed by quickly, and had the duo talk philosophically about what to do when one door closes in life.
Season 2, Episode 4 of Tiny & Toya Sees Tameka Cottle and Antonia Carter Talking About The Latter’s Mother’s Departure
The show begins at Toya’s house. Antonia Carter is really upset over her mother’s sudden departure, after committing to rehab. Now she has to explain this to her daughter Reginae about this issue of her grandmother running away from her problems…again. She straightens up her mother’s former bedroom, then decides to go to Tiny’s Nail Bar for comfort, and is advised by Tameka Cottle to revisit the rehab center. So Carter heads to the rehab center to talk about the setback with Miss Lucy. But the rehab center director admonishes the ex-wife of Lil Wayne to take care of herself first and foremost.
Toya tells Reginae about grandma’s departure on Season 2, Episode 4 of Tiny & Toya, and the daughter reacts with some sadness. The next day, Rudy’s tutor Jeanine comes by, and wants him to learn a word a day and use it throughout the week. The first word being “ascertain.”
Tiny & Toya, Season 2, Episode 4 Sees the Salon Open for Business on BET
It’s two days before Tiny’s Nail Bar opens, and Tamar helps interview for the last employee to be hired there, including one suspicious-acting candidate who didn’t even bring pictured samples of her work. The woman they chose was from Louisiana, and brought work samples via pictures. The next day, Tiny and Toya go to a competing nail salon to check out the prices and see how things are set up on Season 2, Episode 4 (even taking some pictures). The person at the shop was seemingly getting suspicious though before they high-tailed it out of there. But with the reality show cameras there anyway, was there really any suspicion at all?
On Opening Day (which happens to be at night), Tameka Cottle is anxious because things aren’t all in place a couple of hours before the place is to open (mirrors aren’t mounted, chairs not set up, etc.). So Antonia Carter helps set things up, and the first night is well-attended and is prayed over by Tiny’s pastor.
For those who need recaps of past shows in this season, Episode 1 is here, 2 here, and 3 here.
