Winning the lottery could have a large impact on anyone’s life. There are so many things that a person could do that would benefit their lives and if not careful, could take everything away. If I were to win the lottery there are many things I would want to do like: buy a new house, car, start my own business, get a camera, and do something for others. These are just a few things I would like to do if I won the lottery.
The first thing I would do is pay my taxes and get those pesky thing out of the way so that I can enjoy my new spending spree. There would be nothing worse than to make some bad decisions and blow every penny before Uncle Sam got his cut. Then I could be looking at some jail time on top of my fun.
What I would love most of all for myself is fairly easy for me to come up with. I would love a nice house with four bedrooms on 1000 acres with mountains and trees and a pool. My house would be built from scratch so that I could have a say in how I would like my house to be built. I have always had a dream of having a really nice kitchen since I love to cook. I would not want a huge mansion, just a nice house that my 6 year old and I could enjoy.
The next thing on my agenda would be to go buy a brand-spanking-new pickup with 4×4 and all the extras. It would be a sweet ride. I would use my brand new truck to take us fishing and anywhere else we would like to go. It would feel nice to drive around in a brand new pickup truck.
I would like to start my own business so that I could keep the bucks rolling in. I have always had a dream of opening up a sports card shop or a video game store. I would start up a few new businesses because they say that only 1 out of 5 business succeed. I think it would be fun to start up a new subway franchise.
I have always had a dream of becoming a photographer. The best camera I have now is a 3 megapixel camera on my Blackberry phone. I would buy one of those four thousand dollar canon digital cameras and start taking pictures and if I ever got good enough maybe make some money doing what I love.
Last but not least, probably the most important thing, is I would love to help my family. I would buy a house for my mom; one not too far away from my new house, and help my sister and her husband get on their feet with helping them to start a new business of their own. Then I would help my newly-graduated sister pay for her upcoming years of college. One thing I would do is buy a brand new car and deliver it to someone that needed a car in my community. It would be a wonderful surprise to see the look a persons face knowing they could make it to work or able to drive their kids to school.
This is what I would do with my lottery winnings if I ever were so lucky to win them.
