The Twilight Saga: New Moon hoopla was featured on Season 1, Episode 4 of Mall Cops: Mall of America on TLC Thursday night. But other things went on at the Bloomington, Minnesota shopping complex during this half hour installment. This included medical-related incidents, fighting, loud behavior, and dealing with someone who was under the influence of booze.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon Brings a Swarm of Teenage Girls to the Mall of America for the Mall Cops to Deal with on the Season 1, Episode 4 Show
Nearly 2,000 fans showed up for a midnight screening of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. One fan collapses, and Lt. Buegler and Lt. Miles check up on and see the female eventually get back to normal. One officer asked some teenage girls who their favorite characters were, many of whom were dressed up for the occasion.
Later, Officer Steele was looking for trespassers via the trespass books and his photographic memory. He finds a suspect in the shopping mecca during Season 1, Episode 4 of Mall Cops: Mall of America, and has him arrested by the police for not only trespassing, but for allegedly shoplifting. Another rambling man with a persecution complex was told to keep it quiet or leave. He’s a regular who acts up often. A man who’s had too much to drink is detained by the Mall Cops: Mall of America officers, and warned that he’ll soon be stopped by Bloomington Police via a dispatch call if he drives off. That’s enough to make the patron decide to stay at the shopping complex for awhile to sober up.
New officers-in-training Crosby and Henry work on their final training to attempt to be selected permanently. They’ve been on the floor for 60 days, when they have to respond to a fight. Later, the two respond to what they thought was a man with chest pains, but which turned out to be a CPR dummy, needing “attention”, their final test to becoming officers officially, which they passed and got some cake for their milestone.
When The Twilight Saga: New Moon begins accepting admissions, the fans show much excitement. After the movie finished, these officers were there to make sure that the teens found their cars and got out of the venue in an orderly fashion during the last part of Season 1, Episode 4 of Mall Cops: Mall of America.
In Season 1, Episode 3, which aired before this episode about The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the worshippers of Sarah Palin turned up en masse for her book signing, and the Mall Cops had to deal with various security issues over the controversial public figure’s appearance.
