There are many books that I would love to see made into a movie, but there are three movies that I would consider the top three are one of the best books I have read over my lifetime. They are Black Hills by Nora Roberts, Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah, and Dark Lover by J. R. Ward. These three books are what I would consider the best I have read. So the following is my casting choices for who would be great as the characters from the books to the movie.
Black Hills is the latest New York Times Bestselling book by Nora Roberts. There is no equal when she makes the decision to write a book and when it is western themed, then it is a blockbuster. It is about secrets, danger, romance, and so much more. The book is set in South Dakota, which is a place filled with history and a great place for the movie to be set in. The characters of the book are Cooper Sullivan, who is basically an outsider until he meets the one woman who will change his life and her name is Lil Chance. I can see Shia Labeouf of the last Indiana Jones movie playing the character of Cooper Sullivan, when he is older. As a young boy, I can see Haley Joel Osment playing the young Cooper. As for the character of Lil Chance, I can see Lauren Graham of Gilmore Girls. As a young Lil, I can see Abigail Breslin. They are all very good actors and they would be a good addition to the movie. I can see Clint Eastwood being the director and producer of this movie. He has great success in the past with starring and directing western movies, so I can see him doing this movie. The character of Lil Chance has a passion for animals and wants to be able to help those animals who are in need. I can see Sam Elliott playing a supporting character in this movie since he has a tendency to show up in most westerns and other types of movies. Shia Labeouf has that look of an outsider that would portray great on the big screen for this character and Lauren Graham is a beautiful and gracious lady who is constantly changing. She would be great in this movie and a change of pace from her usual movies.

Winter Gardenis the latest new York Times Bestselling book by Kristin Hannah. Winter Garden was a great read and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was about two sisters who had a different and difficult relationship with their cold distant mother. That is until they discover a secret about there mother that changes everything that they believed in. It is set in the in the present and also in the past, as their mother tells them a story about her past by way of a Russian fairy tale. I can see Charlize Theron and Jessica Alba playing the sisters, Meredith and Nina Whitson. I can see Charlize Theron playing Meredith, since she is such a diverse actress and can play just about anything. I can see Jessica Alba playing the flighty dreamer, Nina. As for the mother, I can see only one actress playing her and that would be Helen Mirren. She was great as Queen Elizabeth in the movie Queen and I can see her playing this character to perfection. She played the cold queen to great perfection and as the character, Anya, she would be just a good. Anya is a cold and distant woman who has a painful past that is played out in the book. As for who should direct and produce this movie, there can only be one man and that man is James Cameron. He has done many great movies that are epics and this movie would be no different. He can make the characters come to life and have them become the characters from the book.

Dark Loveris the New York Times Bestselling novel by J.R. Ward. Dark Lover was a great book if you are into Vampires with a twist. There are six warriors who were bred and trained to be the savior of the vampire world. In this first book, Dark Lover, tells the story of the leader of the Brotherhood, Wrath, and his love for the half human, Beth Randall. I can see the actor Hugh Jackman, who starred as Wolverine in the X-Men movies, playing the character of Wrath. Wrath maybe the reluctant leader of the group but he is also blind. As for who would play Beth Randall, I can see the actress Rachel McAdams playing her. I loved Rachel in the movie, the Time Traveler’s wife and I can see her playing this young woman who discovers that she is half human and about to be turned into a full vampire. I can also see Sam Elliott also starring in this movie as the character of Butch O’Neil. Butch is a human who will later find out secrets about himself and eventually be turned. As for who would be the director and the producer, I can see Steven Spielburg, since has done numerous movies that were science fiction oriented. He would be great as the one who directed and produced it.
