Trust is a five letter word. The most important part of a relationship is trust. Building trust takes time and effort. It is not always easy to trust people in the world we live in. This is because many people lie and prove they are not trustworthy.
T is for Time-It takes time to trust somebody. In a relationship, trust is most important. This is why it takes time to build a relationship. Most people only have a few friends they can trust with everything. They have known these friends for a long time. They have learned they can trust their friends. In a relationship between a man and a woman, trust is vital. This is also why it is not a good idea to sleep with somebody you just met. Regardless of your beliefs or views, this is not a good idea. It is impossible to trust somebody when you first meet them. How can you sleep with somebody you do not trust? How can you give away pieces of yourself to somebody you do not know? It takes time to trust somebody. Give your relationships with people time to grow. Learn to trust them over time. Friendship and love take time to develop between two people. Remember, the most important part of a relationship in trust.
R is for responsibility-If a person is not responsible, it is impossible to completely trust them. Responsibility is a huge step in trust. Have you ever asked somebody to please not lie to you? If you asked this question it means you do not completely trust the person. If you asked this question it means they probably lied to you before or you believe they are lying about something. It also means this person is not responsible in their relationship with you. Trust can make or break a relationship. When one or both people are not responsible In their relationship, the relationship is doomed. We find lack of trust and lack of responsibility in many of the Soap Opera’s aired on television. Do you want your relationships to mirror Soap Opera’s? Remember, the most important part of a relationship is trust.
U is for You. Look at yourself. Are you trustworthy? Are you responsible in your relationships? Do you always tell the truth to your friends or your spouse? The next part of trust is the person looking back at you in the mirror. Make sure you are doing your part. Make sure you are the type of person your friends and your spouse can trust. You are an important part of trust. Remember, the most important part of a relationship is trust.
S is for sincerity. Sincere people are people you can trust. Do you speak and act truly about your feelings, thoughts, and desires? Do you hide anything important from your friends or your spouse? Are you one person on the outside and another inside of your heart? Sincerity is a huge part of trust. There are men and women out in the world who will say anything to get what they want. You have to be aware of this when you pick your friends and when you pick your significant other. My best friend (who died of cancer) told me this before he died. He said we meet a lot of people in our lifetime. There are only a few who are true friends. He was amazed that I remained his friend for seven years of cancer when the rest of his friends turned their backs on him. Of course, he was a true friend to me to. Are you a true friend? Are you Sincere? Can you be trusted by your friends and your spouse? Remember, the most important part of a relationship is trust.
T is for true. Jesus was a true friend to the entire world. He was a man who could be trusted. He was true, He was responsible, He was sincere, and He could be trusted. When Jesus looked in the mirror, He saw God in all his perfection. Still He laid down his life for the entire world. None of us are perfect like Jesus. We have our flaws. I’m sure each and every one of us have lied, this is a part of our sinful nature. Today, it is time to become more like Jesus. It is time for each of to take responsibility for our lives. It is time for us to tell the truth to our friends and spouses. It is time to heal our relationships with each other. We can do this by taking this one great step. We have to take the time to look at ourselves and see who we really are. Promise yourself that you will be somebody that your friends and your loved ones can trust. You will get rid of your horrible habits and become the responsible person you were meant to be. You will be sincere with your friends and loved ones. You will not lie to the people who need you the most. You will be the one person in this world that they know they can trust with their lives. Remember, the most important part of a relationship is trust. Jesus proved this to all of us.
