Now that Speidi – the MTV reality TV show, The Hills, really is over, Heidi’s got a lot of picking up the pieces to do-and for different reasons than many people have been picking up the pieces from a challenging economy in 2010.
When any relationship ends, it can be tough to get over someone – for both people. But when one of those people made some serious sacrifices to be with the other, the break-up can be downright devastating.
As many might agree, Heidi Montage doesn’t even resemble the person she was before meeting Spencer Pratt – in more ways than one. Now, with him admitting he came onto The Hills just to get famous, he’s admitted the world that, to him, the whole Speidi relationship was a business.
But did Heidi ever get to approve that business proposal-or did she genuinely love him? Judging by what she’s given up, it appears she was blindsided.
Here’s a look at the top 3 things Heidi gave up for Spencer:
Heidi’s body – thanks to more than 10 plastic surgeries in one day
Heidi caused nationwide controversy last year when she had more than 10 plastic surgeries in one day. Healing from just one plastic surgery can be painful and take a very long time…but 10! Heidi gave up her natural features once – reportedly getting a nose job and chin job. But these 10 surgeries in one day really makes one think about what her motivation may have been to change herself. Is she trying to look younger?
Heidi’s friends – including former BFF Lauren Conrad
Lauren Conrad has appeared to be the voice of wisdom throughout her time on The Hills. She didn’t support Heidi’s relationship with manipulative Spencer. When Spencer spread nasty rumors about Lauren online, she certainly didn’t support Heidi’s complacence. She didn’t want Heidi to move out of their apartment – and she certainly didn’t support their marriage – any of Speidi’s marriages. Lauren, it seems, was right along – like most viewers.
Heidi’s family – including close relationships with her mother and sister
When you lose your friends and your boyfriend turns out to be, seemingly, mentally ill and abusive, who can you turn to? For most people, they can turn to the comfort of their family and friends – especially if they’ve shared close relationships with family and friends in the past. But in this case, Heidi isolated herself from her friends and called the police on her family. So what’s a girl to do to heal from such a horrid set of circumstances?
How Heidi will recover from her split from her nasty relationship is anyone’s guess. Let’s hope she gets some support from someone, since she’s barricaded herself from everyone she used to turn to for support. Will she bounce back with the zest and enthusiasm she had before meeting Spencer? That remains to be seen – perhaps in Heidi’s new reality show with Jenn Bunny (rumors are out there).
