It’s almost time for our kids to go back to school, and soon you will have to begin your back to school shopping. Almost every back to school shopping list will include a backpack, but it can be hard to find just the right backpack for your elementary school girl. To help you find the perfect backpack for your student to go back to school with, here are some of the best back to school backpacks for elementary school girls.
L. L. Bean Critter Pack ($30-$56)
The L. L. Bean Critter Pack is designed specifically for elementary school girls between the ages of 7 and 10. They come in six different colors, and feature different animals on the outside like butterflies and dragonflies. This backpack is made from durable textured nylon and has a reinforced bottom to make it last, which is important because our elementary school girls can put their backpacks through a lot of abuse throughout the school year. The Critter Pack also comes in a wheeled version with gliding wheels and a retractable T-handle specifically designed for 7-10 year-olds. The Critter Pack is an excellent backpack for your elementary school girl, but they are a little on the pricey side at $30 for the normal version, and $56 for the wheeled.
Disney Backpacks from Walmart ($10)
Walmart carries a line of Disney backpacks featuring the favorite Disney characters of many elementary school girls, such as Tinkerbell and Snow White. The different Disney characters make these backpacks popular for elementary school girls, but the backpacks are not as durable as other backpacks out there. They are made from a cheaper plastic, and tend to wear out faster. The good thing about these backpacks, other than having your elementary school girl’s favorite Disney character on the outside, is that these backpacks are inexpensive at $10.
Eastport Backpacks (starting at $9)
Eastport brand backpacks are both inexpensive (starting around $9), and durable. These backpacks are very well made for their price, and will last a long time. Eastport backpacks come in many different styles, and they make both clear backpacks and mesh backpacks in case your student’s elementary school requires them. Eastport also has an entire collection of completely natural backpacks which are 100% biodegradable and environmentally safe. Eastport backpacks can be found on their website, or any Walmart store.
Junior Backpack from GAP ($19.50)
The junior backpacks from GAP are both stylish and durable. They come in three different designs, created just for girls, that your elementary school girl is sure to love. The Junior Backpack comes with plenty of pockets, and even a strap to attach a lunchbox. These backpacks are also durable, though maybe not so durable as the Critter Pack, but they are trendy and a bit cheaper at $19.50.
