The Benefits of Giving Things of Value to Society Part 1

by itchyfish

The benefits of giving things of value to society are often overlooked. Rarely do we think about the world that we will leave for our children’s children or for the generations to come after them.

Big Industry

If we took this more seriously, then we would be making far different choices today. Too often the people in big industry will say that sure the effects of what they’re doing won’t impact anybody for a few hundred years, long after we’re gone.

Our Children’s, Children’s, Children

What they don’t take into consideration is that while it’s true that they won’t be here, somebody will. Maybe the results of what they’re doing today will be felt by their children’s-chidren’s-children. Does this justify someone’s actions that may provide benefits now, but that will do more harm than good in the long term?

Giving Things Of Value To Society

When giving things of value to society, one has to think of the long-term effects of what they’re doing. I know that it’s not easy to think this way because we are the do it now-get it done, generation.

The Quick Fix

We’re also the generation of the quick fix. The quick fix doesn’t always equal quality. In my mind, quality is better than quantity, any time.

Giving

Giving things of value to society has long term benefits that benefit everybody on the planet.

Humanity

We, on planet Earth, are members of humanity. United, we stand as one and live in harmony. Divided, we live in chaos and upheaval with no solutions in site.

Harmony

I would rather be united and live in harmony.

Value To Society

Being united adds value to society. Working together adds value to society. War and strife are things that tear society apart. The people that benefit the most from war are the people who make the weapons that both sides use to kill each other. To them, the longer the war goes on, the better because that means that they make more money. To them, it’s beneficial to have people and countries at war so that they can live in the lap of luxury. They make and build the weapons that they use to kill each other. They don’t care about peace. If we had peace, all those people that make the weapons would be out of a job. Then they would actually have to use their minds instead of being a mindless drone that does what they’re told.

Imagine

Imagine a world where innovation was encouraged by industry and not repressed by people who want to keep their strong hold over society.

Power Struggle

There is a power struggle going on in the world as we speak. The psychological warfare between the haves and the have-nots has never been stronger.

People Realize

The sooner people realize that they’re alike in more ways than they realize, the better off this world will be.

Things Of Value

Giving things of value to society makes a difference for everyone that we all benefit from.
