“The Bachelorette,” Ali, discusses the men on the show after Monday’s first episode, according to TV People Watch. Now that the show is finally airing, Ali can share her views and thoughts of the 25 contestants. What does Ali have to say about the men on “The Bachelorette”?
TV People Watch had the latest from Ali’s blog and here she tells viewers how she feels about the men on “The Bachelorette” 2010 season. She gives her first impressions of the 25 men and why she let eight go the first episode.
“The Bachelorette” Ali Discusses Her Men – Ali Blogs About Her Nerves
If you watched the May 24 episode of “The Bachelorette,” season 6 on Monday, it was evident Ali was nervous meeting her suitors as each pulled up in a long, black limo.
Remember when Ali told Chris L. to have a good night at the “meet and greet”? She felt terrible about that mistake!
Ali’s words to him were, “Have a good night!” Ali later on blogged, “Oh my. Poor guy. It’s like I was saying, ‘Thanks for coming! See you at the rose ceremony.'”
Ali actually feels silly for not understanding Jesse’s comment about being a ‘peculiar man.’ “You’re a what man?” Ali asked him. “I think he told me his was a “peculiar man” about four times before I actually heard him.” It wasn’t just you, Ali. All of us had to hit rewind and figure out what Jesse actually meant! I
Let’s not forget the hunter – Kyle. His attempt to be cute took guts. It didn’t work. He hopped out of the limo, stood back, and pretended he was fishing and caught a live one. Unsure what to do, Ali asked, “Am I suppose to come to you?” Talk about awkward!
When Roberto introduced himself, Ali couldn’t pronounce his name. ” Really? I couldn’t pronounce Roberto?” Ali said. “Pull it together, girl!”
On Ali’s response to Frank about saying Paris is an amazing place, but she’s never been there, “How would I know it was amazing if I’ve never been?”
“The Bachelorette” Ali Discusses Her Men – Impressions Made on Ali
Ali really liked Chris H., the first guy she met at the “meet and greet.” She blogged, “The first guy I met was Chris H. How adorable is he?! I remember thinking, ‘If 24 more guys like Chris H. get out of these limos, then there is absolutely no way I will be able to let anyone go tonight.'”
“Jonathan N. brought a little sunshine into my life and John C. proposed! I can’t believe all the things they did to get my attention. All I can say is: It worked.” What girl wouldn’t like all that flattering attention, Ali!
Another shocker was Derrick confessing to Ali why he’s referred to as “Shooter.” Why one earth would any man do such a thing – on national television – and meeting a woman he wants to impress?
“Derrick, I mean Shooter, well, I don’t think I need to explain this one,” Ali blogged. Will Derrick face ridicule when he goes back home? It’s definitely a thought of Ali’s. ” I hope Derrick’s friends aren’t giving him too hard of a time for telling me that story. He was a good sport.” She goes on to explain, “I’m sure many of you are wondering if I didn’t give him a rose because he told me that story. No, that was not the case. I had to let eight guys go and I just didn’t think Shooter was a match for me, regardless of, well, you know.” Uh, yeah, we know, Ali. Gotcha.
“The Bachelorette” Ali Discusses Her Men – Decisions, Decision, Decisions
Ali felt bad for her 25 contestants when the ballot box came out. Chris Harrison told the men to write down the name of the one person they felt was on “The Bachelorette” for the wrong reasons. “I felt really bad the guys had to write a name down, but having their advice that night couldn’t be a bad thing.” Remember how well Jake took your advice about Vienna, Ali?
The name that came out of the ballot box? Justin. Yes, “Rated R” was the one all the others felt wasn’t genuine.
“When Chris read Justin’s name, I was shocked,” Ali blogged. “Talking with him, he seemed so nice and sincere! Justin thought the guys chose him because he is a wrestler, and I honestly feel bad that a few of the guys were making fun of something he loves to do.” Then “The Bachelorette” star admits, “Okay, an entertainment wrestler isn’t the type of guy I’d normally date, but I commend him for doing what makes him happy regardless of what others think. I decided to keep Justin because he was nothing but nice to me.” Let’s see what she says in about Justin in a few weeks.
“The Bachelorette” Ali Discusses Her Men – First Impression Rose
For the first impression rose Ali made her choice carefully. “I really wanted to make sure that I thought carefully about who received the first impression rose,” she writes. ” I wanted to give it to a guy that I could see a future with and on the first night, I got that feeling from Roberto. I just felt so comfortable with him and there was an immediate connection. Plus, he is super hot, which didn’t hurt.” We’re with you there, Ali. No one can argue with super hot!
What about the eliminations? Ali wrote, “Letting eight guys go at the end of the night was hard. In particular, I really would have liked to spend more time with Phil and Jay. They both seem like fun, genuine guys that I would have liked to have gotten to know better.”
Although Ali had 25 men to choose from that first “Bachelorette” episode, eliminating eight is a large number.
“The Bachelorette,” Ali concluded after discussing her men, “All in all, it was definitely a crazy first night and that is just the beginning! Until next week …”
