On Monday night’s episode of ABC’s The Bachelorette, it was time for the men to tell all. Problem was, the men fans wanted to hear from- Justin “Rated R” Rego and lovelorn Frank Neuschaefer- weren’t there! But there was a surprise female guest on board. So what happened on The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All?
Who Was There?
Some of the Bachelors on the Men Tell All episode were barely memorable. Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky let some of them go- like Kyle- on the first night of her season. The guys who participated in The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All taping were: Jesse, Hunter, Kyle, Tyler V., Craig R., John C., Derrick, Jason, Steve, Chris N., Kirk, Jonathan aka “Weatherman”, Kasey and Ty.
Chris N., who had barely uttered a word during his time on The Bachelorette, apparently has come out of his shell. He was quite animated and even donned a shirt that said “The Phantom”, a play on Justin Rego’s infamous “Rated R” t-shirt.
The Frank Neuschaefer Scandal
Of course some of the show was devoted to talking about that lowlife Frank (he actually left the show to reunite with his ex-girlfriend. Oh the nerve!). Some of the guys were fairly bitter about Frank taking a coveted hometown date spot when he clearly had unresolved feelings regarding his ex.
Host Chris Harrison questioned how Frank could ever get himself into such a position- to have two girls that he wanted to marry. Well, isn’t that the position Ali is in? Isn’t that the premise of this entire show?
Jessie Sulidis and the Justin “Rated R” Rego Scandal
You may remember her from last season’s The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love when she vied for the affection of Jake Pavelka. Well, Jessie Sulidis’ time in the spotlight isn’t over yet, and somehow she got reeled into this season’s Bachelorette Justin”Rated R” Rego storyline. And while it would have been much more interesting to see Justin’s angry ex-girlfriends on stage (according to blogger Reality Steve, the two timer’s hometown girls, Jessica and Kimberly, were originally slated to appear on the show but that changed at the minute) Jessie S. was able to get in more valuable face time before her next stint on ABC’s Bachelor Pad. By the way, Jessie sure looks like Marianne from Gilligan’s Island.
The angry bachelors had harsh words for Justin. Chris N, called him a “famewhore”. Tyler V. called him bipolar.
And while Jessie Sulidis didn’t offer any groundbreaking news on Justin Rego’s girlfriend scandal this season (at least not for people who read the spoilers) , at the end of the day, she did possibly find love .
Kasey- aka Tattoo Boy
The man who tattooed his intentions on his arm treated Ali to another one of his corny songs. But before that he went into his whole fairytale spiel. One of his classic lines? “It’s just my heart. Jump in and stay a while”. Man, this guy should write advertising jingles!
But this crazy guy said the sanest thing of anyone this season. After comparing his stunts to some of the other things Ali had to endure this season, he said, “I’m at least a good memory.”
Ousted bachelor Kirk DeWindt was also in the hot seat and he admitted to Harrison that yes, he was in love with Ali and yes, she broke his heart. The audience seemed to love this guy!
More on Justin “Rated R”
Clearly, the star of this show wasn’t there, but Harrison kept going back to the Justin “Rated R” scandal. Didn’t they beat this subject to death earlier? Craig R. said of Justin, “The guy’s evil…..he’s a bad person.”
Kirk recounted a story where he actually overheard Justin calling his hometown girlfriend, Jessica, when he roomed with him in Iceland.
Bachelor Pad Update
Looking for some fun in the sun, Bachelor style? The premiere of ABC’s Bachelor Pad is coming soon, right on the heels The Bachelorette finale. And judging by the promo scenes that aired, it looks like mindless, trashy TV central. Don’t worry, though- I’ll be there to recap it for you!
As for The Bachelorette, here are Ali’s Final 2 Bachelors:
Chris L.- age 33- landscaper Cape Cod, MA
Roberto- age 26, insurance agent, Charleston, SC
Next week: The final 2 bachelors meet the parents- Ali’s parents- in The Bachelorette Season 6 finale in Bora Bora. Who will Ali choose as her final man?
