“Bachelor” big wig, executive producer, Mirk Fleiss, speaks to Entertainment Weekly (EW) on Jake and Vienna’s break up that happened Tuesday. Since “The Bachelor” couple called it quits, Mike Fleiss wanted to set the record straight about his show. The break up of Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi has caused a lot of drama and Fleiss is sorry the two didn’t make it.
“Bachelor” Producer Reminds Viewers of Successful Couples, Unlike Jake and Vienna
Fleiss tells EW in a statement, “It is painful. We’ve been on a roll lately with a bunch of happy couples in succession.”
The only thing that comes to mind is the fact only four couples have been successful from “The Bachelor” franchise. Isn’t the break up of Jake and Vienna the standard statistic from the show? If you ask Mike Fleiss, he points out the couples that have survived well.
“Mr. and Mrs. Jason Mesnick, Ed (Swiderski) and Jillian (Harris), Ali (Fedotowsky) and ???… Strong relationships are even emerging from Bachelor Pad.”
He didn’t slip and say who Ali may have picked on “The Bachelorette.” Hmmm….that’s still a big secret.
Jake and Vienna’s Split Surprised Mike Fleiss
Mike Fleiss is in the know more than anyone. Did he see this split between Jake and Vienna on the horizon at all?
“This break-up caught me totally by surprise,” the executive producer said. “I really feel bad for Jake and Vienna.”
Jake and Vienna Are in a ‘He Said, She Said’ “Bachelor” Scandal
Out on stands tomorrow are exclusive interviews Jake and Vienna are giving to tell their side of the break up. Vienna gives her story to Star magazine while Jake gives his to People.
Both are angry and bitterly hurt by the other. A sit down interview will take place of Jake and Vienna July 5th after “The Bachelorette,” according to Good Morning America. That will be a highly anticipated event. How will Jake and Vienna handle themselves in front of the cameras after the scandals fans have witnessed all week?
All week speculations of a $50,000 ring going back to “The Bachelor” reality show (will the franchise use it for the next “Bachelor” bride?), allegations of Vienna cheating on Jake, and Vienna accusing her ex-fiance of putting his career over her. Jealousy, cheating, and dishonesty are the accusations both are exchanging before the media. It’s a guessing game and it really doesn’t matter. Neither seem to be innocent in this break up.
