Taal Restaurant Indian Restaurant in San Bernardino, California offers delicious Indian food at a convenient location for residents of the Inland Empire. Several of my friends recommended this establishment so I eagerly visited them with hopes of satisfying my taste buds with some Indian cuisine. Although Taal Restaurant Indian Restaurant does not offer the best Indian food I have ever had, it certainly has some tasty treats and a nice atmosphere.
The location of Taal Restaurant Indian Restaurant is really great. It is on Hospitality Lane, which some view as the southern boundary of San Bernardino. Unfortunately, this city has a fairly poor reputation when it comes to safety. The high crime rate does not make me eager to visit this Inland Empire town, but Hospitality Lane is probably one of the nicer parts of San Bernardino. Many restaurants can be found all along Hospitality and I have not felt uncomfortable in this part of town, even when visiting Taal Restaurant Indian Restaurant late night.
The staff at Taal Restaurant Indian Restaurant are very nice and eager to please. While I was there, they noticed I was looking over my shoulder to look at the catchy Indian music video on the screen behind me. One of the staff quickly rushed over and turned on another screen so I would not need to strain my head to watch the music videos. Speaking of which, the staff really seems to like to play Indian music videos-I have no problems with this but others might, if looking for a slightly quieter dining experience.
Taal Restaurant Indian Restaurant is quite clean and has a relatively nice atmosphere but I felt it could be a little nicer if a few changes were made. The buffet setup could be adjusted a little to suit the customers more but overall I like the place. I will certainly be going back, probably with many of my friends who have just discovered Indian food.
The food is quite good at Taal Restaurant Indian Restaurant. They offer a buffet during lunch hours and dining during dinner. Honestly, the dinner menu is rather pricey, with plates at least $13-$17, but the buffet is quite reasonable and has an excellent selection. I have eaten dinner and lunch at Indian Restaurant and been happy both times but I will becoming back in the future for the buffet, not the dinner due to the price. I really like the selection of food offered at the lunch buffet but I would like it even more if they did what some of my other favorite Indian buffets did and offered various desserts (mango pudding or rice pudding? Mmm!).
When I went for dinner, there was not many customers but lunch time at Taal Restaurant Indian Restaurant sees a vast influx of hungry people. With the colleges in the area and the many business offices located nearby, it is a sure bet that one can find a wide variety of people at Taal Restaurant Indian Restaurant for their popular Indian food buffet at lunch time.
