Mon Ami Gabi at Paris of Las Vegas

I don’t think I’ll ever make it to France for a romantic evening, so the next best thing is Paris, Las Vegas. There is definitely something romantic about Paris and the Eiffel Tower. Take your date on a tour, 460 feet above the Las Vegas Strip at the Eiffel Tower. This place is a half scale replica of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. You’ll get to take an elevator ride to the top, where you get a romantic panoramic view of Las Vegas.
Then take her to a romantic dinner at the fabulous French bistro “Mon Ami Gabi”. The atmosphere resembles dining on the Champs Elyseé, offering a terrific spot for people watching. The restaurant got its’ name from the chef Gabino Sotelino , and the French words “Mon Ami”, which means ‘My Friend”. Mon Ami Gabi is a French bistro. Their dinner menu offers traditional French food like such as French Onion Soup, Trout Grenobloise, Steak Frites. I always recommend starting a romantic dinner with oysters so be sure to order the “Oysters Du Jour”.
You can also intrigue your guest with the Cooking Class that Mo Ami Gabi offers by executive Chef Terry Lynch. This chef will teach you while cooking a fantastic romantic meal, accompanied by wine tasting. It was really great fun and romantic.
Aureole at The Mandalay Bay
This Four- Diamond award winning restaurant has always intrigued me, as it will you and your guest. I found it to be a very romantic setting in the swan room, and watching the wine stewardess propel her way up the four story wine tower to our wine selection. The wine tower is the center piece of the place which was designed by Adam Tihany. Aureole at Mandalay Bay was first built in 1999, and has won many 4 diamond awards. Aureoles’ menu is filled with American cuisine, my favorite being the artisan dry-aged beef and seafood, they also have a large wine list from around the world.
Before eating a romantic dinner, spend the hot Las Vegas Day at Mandalay Bay Beach. This oasis is located on eleven acres, of pure fantasy. This desert oasis offers 2,700 tons of real sand, a wave pool, a lazy river, 3 swimming pools, a jogging track. The Beach sports a Beachside Casino. To complete the romantic scene we stayed in one of their rentable bungalows by the beach, they also had 100 rentable cabanas, day beds, and nearly 500 square foot with access to a private, third-level pool. They have a Beach Concert Series that entertains you above the beach with live music by famous musicians ike Chicago, Joss Stone, Ziggy Marley, Foreigner and Pat Benatar.

Once you’ve spent the evening at this romantic place, it will be etched in your minds forever. This restaurant sits 800 feet above Las Vegas at the top of the Stratosphere Tower. The restaurant revolves 360 degrees allowing you a birds’ eye view of the entire city of Las Vegas. The revolution takes approximately one hour and 20 minutes, allowing us plenty of time to enjoy our meals and beverages.
The menu includes seafood and steaks, their Colorado Rack of Lamb and Chateaubriand 3-course dinner for two, was our choice. Top of the World also features an extensive wine list. Top of the World also offers some fantastic desserts, such as White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Crème Brulée and their signature Chocolate Stratosphere filled with Belgium chocolate mousse.
