The Rock Band 3 setlist has been partially released, even though the Rock Band 3 release date hasn’t been made official yet. The Rock Band 3 trailer is also out, allowing fans to get a first real glimpse at what the new MTV game is going to look like, all in the expectation that the release date will hit sometime in the fall. Rock Band 3 will add a whole grouping of new tracks to the setlist, has several new instruments to broaden the appeal of the game, and will also have a new ‘pro’ mode that should make the game even more exciting for long term players.

Rock Band 3 is going to include the use of stringed guitars, symbol attachments for the drums, and a keyboard. The keyboard could definitely broaden the appeal of the game, and the symbols will, of course, add to the interest of drum players that love really getting into the game. Those who have played the Rock Band games since they came out know well that they have included a guitar, a bass guitar, a drum set, and microphone for the lead singer.
Rock Band 3 definitely looks interesting in the trailer, and MTV Games may have another blockbuster on their hands when it comes to sales. Rock Band 3 information that we know now is that there will be 83 tracks on the game, it will be available on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and Nintendo DS, and there will be a better career mode within the game. Stay tuned for the Rock Band 3 release date, because they probably won’t hold it back from us for much longer.
Wired posted a setlist of what has been revealed already through MTV Games on Rock Band 3, and those songs follow in a brief setlist. There will be more songs added to the list, but those probably won’t be revealed until we know the release date.
