I’ve been using several beauty products from BeautiControl for the past few weeks, and while I have not been too impressed with some of them, I love their Regeneration Eye Firming Serum. I am 54 years old, and have some loose skin and wrinkles next to my eyes (crow’s feet), and I have been trying numerous products to help make this part of my face look younger.
The Regeneration Eye Firming Serum claims to tighten, firm and fill the eye area. It is step 3 in the BeautiControl “Instant Face Lift” reigmen. First I exfoliated the skin on my face with two products, their BC Spa Resurface Multi-Acid Resurfacing Peel and the BC Spa Resurface Microderm Abrasion for face. After those two steps have been completed, then it is time to use the Regeneration Eye Firming Serum.
This product claims to have a patent-pending “Triple action peptide blend” that claims to immediately tighten and firm the appearance of the skin, especially around the eyes. It is intended to plump and fill the area to help decrease the look of wrinkles.
According to the company, this product contains “Four powerful, cutting-edge ingredients are combined into one product. Contains HylaSponges™, a state-of-the-art delivery system that produces a “second skin” on the epidermal surface for constant release of ingredients that plump and fill”. The instructions say to apply it on the eyelid as well as under the eye.
Regeneration Eye Firming Serum comes in an aqua colored tube shaped container, holding 0.46 ounces of a pale gold, almost clear, serum. I have sensitivities to scented products, especially face care products. Often times I have to wash the cream off of my face due to the scent, but this serum did not bother my sensitive nose at all. The serum feels slightly sticky, but it is easy to apply. It feels nice and cool against my skin, and absorbs quite well, with no greasy or oily feeling and no shiny appearance left behind.
The skin above my eye tends to hang over my eyelid, which makes it senseless for me to apply any eye shadow, it most likely would not even be visible. A friend of mine works for a Dr. who does eye lifts on patients, and this friend has even suggested that I get the surgery done on this loose skin above my eye. Because of my condition, I was extremely skeptical that anything out of a jar could make a visible change, but I did indeed see some difference after using the Regeneration Eye Firming Serum. I would not say the benefit was immediate, but within 20 minutes I could see a difference.
Customers first trying this product are prompted to do the four step “Instant Face Lift” on just one side of their face so they can compare the results to the untreated side. Did I still have some loose skin above my eye? Yes, it didn’t make me look like I had undergone surgery for an eye lift, but it did show visible results that were quite impressive.
Regeneration Eye Firming Serum retails for $42.50, and is available through independent sales representatives, or through the BeautiControl website. This is one splurge that I feel would pay off, and when used over a period of time, the results become more dramatic.
