A clay facial mask I really didn’t like way the Freeman Facial Clay Mask with Avocado & Oatmeal. It burned my skin really bad and made it really red and irritated. However, I will say once my skin did settle back down it was a lot clear and the zits on my face did begin to dry up, but I do not think I will use this clay facial mask again because I think facial masks are suppose to be soothing.
Some of the things I did like about the Freeman Facial Clay Mask with Avocado & Oatmeal were it had a nice creamy smooth texture to it, it dried like a clay mask, did remove dirt and oil from my skin, and washed off very easily. I even liked the bottle it came in because it was easy to squeeze. I liked the fact that the clay was on $3, which is very affordable when your on a tight budget.
Some of the things I really didn’t like about the clay mask were it had a strong burning sensation when I first put it on and it really irritated my skin, it had a nasty strong perfume scent to it, and it has a nasty green color to it. I hated the fact that after I took off the mask my skin was really red like it had been burned and my skin felt really tight, dry, and itchy. I had to apply a nice natural moisturizing cream to my face after splashing it down with cool water to really help rinse all the chemicals off my face. At least that is what the mask felt like on my face, like a bunch of nasty chemicals.
The way I applied the clay mask was by squeezing about 3 tablespoons of the clay mask into my hands. Than I lathered it onto my face in a nice thick even layer. Than I allowed the mask to dry, but I didn’t leave it on as long as I should have because it burned to much. I thought masks were suppose to by very soothing to the skin and not irritating. Once the mask dried I quickly rinsed it off with plenty off warm water using a wash cloth. The mask was a bit hard to get off, but it did come off. You just have to get your face really wet for it to come off. Once the mask was off I was so happy because the burning sensation started to go away completely.
I will not use the Freeman Facial Clay Mask with Avocado & Oatmeal ever again, and I will not recommend it to anybody with sensitive skin or any kind of skin type unless they do not mind a burning facial mask. However, if you do decide to get the clay mask I got mine at my local Walmart Store for $3, which I don’t think was worth paying for. You can even find it at some local drugstores depending on what brands they carry, but seriously I do not recommend using this facial mask. There are a lot of other facial masks out there that do a better job and are very soothing to the skin.
Now I do hope those of you who end up using the Freeman Facial Clay Mask with Avocado & Oatmeal have better results than I did, and I hope you can get clear, soft, happy skin. I know I sure didn’t and will not ever use this facial mask again.
