Fill your art center with red squares cut from construction paper. Have a slit going up the center of the square, only halfway to the top. Cut halfway to each side. Also set out construction paper cut outs of farm animals and short pieces of straw or hay. Let your preschool students use their imaginations to create a farm picture.

Using the same corrals from the fine motor activity, ask your preschool students individually to put 5 cows in a corral. Then ask them to take away two cows. How many cows does that leave in the corral? And so on.
