Barack Obama-the president of the United States of America-and his family are going to be vacationing in Florida-the Sunshine State-at Panama City Beach. It has been reported (read it here) that the beach has not been hit hard by the BP oil spill (BP is a big bastard of a corporation that eats American men, women, and children when nobody’s looking…) and was easily cleaned up.
Just 80 miles West, from Pensacola Beach on to Alabama, the beaches are in a much worse condition, hit disastrously with oil. They are, it has been reported, incredibly “contaminated”, despite a “superficial” cleanup effort by BP (the American people could still hang these bastards from their heels and tickle their faces with gaudy peacock feathers until they admit they suck, have kept the world buying their oil, and have not, despite the lies, been working toward greener alternative energy…).
The dirty globs of oil and messy beaches represents well the overall corruption and negligence of the American political / Wall Street scene. Obama & Co. (I mean all the swine in Washington that keep this country in gridlock) should either clean it up, or vacation in it.
For the presidential first family-and whatever else they’re known as-only a clean beach is a suitable beach, and vacationing will be good, despite the fact there are contaminated beaches and devastated peoples so close by.
So I’m criticizing the Obamas (and all the other politicians that suck, and the previous presidents before this one-George Bush Jr. anyone?-that have kept the same ‘shitty’ policy for working-class Americans). Somebody will ask me, “Would you want to vacation on an oil-ridden beach? Why do you fault/criticize the Obamas for vacationing on a pristine stretch of beach? They need a vacation, too.”
The Obamas-representing those with nice lives, with money and opportunity-can vacation on the pristine and oil-free beach. In short, they will not be bothered by the groveling proletariat and desperate, mob-mentality Americans. You know, the Americans who no longer have any future? Those Americans.
This image serves as a microcosm to the macrocosm. The oil, I tell you, represents the paltry attempts at financial reform, a laughable health care bill that strengthens the rapist health care insurance companies by giving them millions of new customers and funnels taxpayer dollars into the equation, an increased number of dead civilians in Afghanistan committed at the hands of honorable U.S. troops, 30,000 people in Atlanta needing housing, and a bunch of young people like myself that cannot get a professional job because, hey, there are none. And all the other Americans that can’t find jobs. That too.
This is the contaminated beach that the rest of America is ‘vacationing’ at. Waiting for help.
