JULY 2 NEW MOVIE TRAILERS:
The Twilight Saga-Eclipse: Thousands of fans camped out for 4 days for the Los Angeles premiere. Bella (Kristen Stewart) has to choose between her old love vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and her new werewolf friend. It’s rated PG-13 for action, violence and sensuality.
The Last Airbender: In another story about Avatars, a young one tries to make peace between the four nations of fire, water, earth, and air. It’s 3D and may help revive director M. Night Shyamalan’s career. This new film is rated PG for action and violence.
Love Ranch: Helen Mirren and Joe Pesci star as the owners of the first legal brothel in the US. Mirren’s husband Taylor Hackford directs. The trailer sounds smart and Mirren looks fabulous. It’s rated R for sex, language and some violence.
JULY 9 NEW MOVIE TRAILERS:
Despicable Me: Three cute orphans help rehabilitate the villainous Gru (voice of Steve Carell) who was planning to steal the moon. This animated new film is rated PG for rudeness and mild action.
Predators: If you liked the 1987 version, they’re back as elite warriors including Adrien Brody get hunted by an alien race. Expect intense violence and some sexual references.
The Kids Are All Right: Two teenagers track down their sperm donor dad in this very funny new film that won the Teddy at the Berlin International Film Festival. Starring Julianne Moore and Annette Bening, it’s rated R for sex, language and teen drug use.
Grease: The 1979 John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John vehicle about summer love is back for sing-along shows in over 20 cities. It’s rated PG for sexual content, language and teen smoking and drinking.
JULY 16 NEW MOVIE TRAILERS:
The Sorcerer’s Apprentice: A sorcerer (Nicholas Cage) tries to protect New York from an evil villain in this new film from Disney. Audiences think that Cage’s hair may be the bigger threat, plus they injured two real New Yorkers during the filming. It’s rated PG for violence, rudeness and language.
Inception: Director Christopher Nolan from Dark Knight directs this new sci-fi film with a thief (Leonardo DiCaprio) who steals from his victim’s subconscious. It’s rated PG-13 for violence and action.
JULY 23 NEW MOVIE TRAILERS:
Salt: Angelina Jolie replaced Tom Cruise as a CIA agent trying to clear her name. It’s rated PG-13 for intense violence and action.
Ramona and Beezus: For lovers of Beverly Cleary’s children books, this new film features more misadventures from Ramona (Joey King). It’s rated G.
