This may be one of the most important articles you read in a long time so please pay close attention to what I am going to tell you about Phytochemicals also known by some as phytonutrients. The word Phyto means plant derived or obtained from plants. So when we say phytochemicals we mean chemicals derived from plants.
If you want to be cancer free or be free of cancer down the road then you had better be eating lots of fruit and vegetables. Within natures plants are all the chemicals the body needs to beat cancer or should I say allow our immune system to fight cancer the way it was ordained to do in the first place. You must be instilling the right chemicals and nutrients in your body so that it will be able to cure cancer the way that nature intended in the first place. That is the way God has made our bodies to heal themselves as long as you are putting the right things into them.
The following is a list of Chemicals that is found in natural plant foods. Allium compounds, allyl sulfides, anthocyanins, caffeic acid, catechins, coumarins, dithiolthiones, ellagic acid, ferulic acid, flavonoids, glucosinolates, indoles, isoflavones, isothiocyanates, lignans, liminoids, pectins, perillyl alcohol, phenolic acids, phytosterols, polyacetylenes, polyphenols, protease inhibitors, saponins, sulphorophane, terpenes. These substances are very anti-cancerous by nature and from nature. So make sure you are eating lots fruits and vegetables if you want to be healthy for a long time and be Cancer Free. That is where these chemcials find their origin in fruits and vegetables.
Now remember cancer is deformed or abnormal cells within the human body in short. So to repair these damaged cells we need the substances found in fruit and vegetables. There have been many studies on both humans and animals which have proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that phytochemicals meaning chemicals derived from plants have the ability to prevent onslaught of or even reverse damage to DNA that may ultimately result in cancer.
Not only do phytochemicals help repair damage to DNA that could ultimately result in Cancer but they help boost our immune system against an anti-immune disorder later on as well as detoxify cancer causing agents and fight all types of sickness and disease as well. Taking isolated supplements such as betacarotene by itself can be harmful.4. Beans in general have a large abount of anti-cancer properties to fight breast and prostate cancer especially.
As you can see the importance of taking lots fruit and vegetables daily. I recommend at least 5 to 6 different vegetables per day and 7 to 8 fruits per day if you want to live to be 100.
Now please don’t get me wrong I love my meat just like the next person but I usually consume 85% fruit and vegetables daily and only 15 % meat weekly. The rest of my diet consists of sprouted grain breads, oatmeal, quaker oats, and whole grain cereals, salmon and rainbow trout.. The fat in meats is very cancer causing as well as being very low in nutrition.
According to the China Project a study headed by Colin Campbell Ph.D of Cornell University the following facts have been ascertained : 1. As the amount of animal foods increased in the diet even in small amounts, so did the likelihood of certain cancers even that are common in the west. 2. When animal food was taken to a zero intake then cancer rates dropped. 3. In areas of the country where animal food consumption was low to zero cancer and heart attacks were very very low. 4. Animal products showed to be deficient in nutrients that protect us against cancer and heart attacks.
I am simply giving you all the facts so you may ascertain the information and come to your own foregone conclusion. One more piece of the puzzle I would like to give you before I close. Do not just become a vegetarian or fruitarian and expect your life to change if you still are eating lots of cold breakfast cereals with preservatives, vegetarian fast foods, white rice and pasta and lots of junk food. Your life will change very little. Look at the whole picture and do an about face and a complete paradigm shift as far as your lifestyle goes, then and only then will you know true freedom from infirmities as I am trying to show you.
