The Crown Royal 400 in Richmond, Virginia is the last short track NASCAR race for a while and there are some solid drivers with long odds to choose from. The Las Vegas Hilton Superbook has loosened up a bit in regards to Jimmie Johnson, raising his odds to 5-1 while also giving Denny Hamlin respect lowering his odds to 6-1. Hamlin recovering from ACL surgery has performed admirably since the surgery, even pulling off the win in the Texas race.
Richmond is a hybrid of a super speedway and a short track. It may be the most unique track that NASCAR travels to on the circuit. There are three distinct grooves for the drivers, so the bumping and nudging is not as bad as Martinsville but the racing is still exciting. NASCAR teams that adjust their car through the race are the teams that will succeed at Richmond. Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin and Jeff Burton are all drivers that know the fast way around the short 3/4 mile circuit and how to adjust when the sun goes down.
