One of the main goals in My Zoo is to raise your acclaim and daily visitors. Both help to maximize profits and reach special challenge levels. If you’re stuck on Daily Visitor challenges, follow these simple tips to maximize the number of visitors to your zoo. They will raise your Zoo Acclaim, which will in turn raise the number of daily visitors to your zoo!
Keep Visitor Satisfaction at 100%. This statistic, measured underneath Daily Visitors, indicates if you have enough facilities to keep your visitors happy. Mouse over the number to see your grade, split up into several categories (the last, value, indicates ticket price; lower is better). If anything is less than 100%, add more of the facilities.
Maximize your advertising. The maximum you can set your advertising to is $1,000,000. As your zoo grows, you should increase your advertising and decrease your ticket price, while aiming to keep at least $50,000 profit a day.
Keep ticket prices low. Your ticket price affects the number of daily visitors directly. The higher it goes, the more profit you get to a point. Profit then begins diminishing as visitors find the cost too high. The higher your level and Zoo Acclaim, the lower you can drop your price, until you will be able to comfortably have the ticket price always set at $1. (For ticket price challenges, you only need to raise the ticket price once to get credit; you can then drop the ticket price down to your normal setting.)
Purchase special properties. Shops do not offer acclaim; however, the rest of the facilities do. Make sure you buy the maximum number of Telescopes (one per species) and Botanical Gardens. Make sure you buy one of each facility and special program.
Buy the maximum of all non-bred animals. Any animal that can be bought instead of bred should be bought to its maximum number. Each animal after a certain purchase point gives extra acclaim.
Keep bred animals at about the same number. That is, attempt to breed all your animals at the same rate, perhaps setting a goal of five bred, then 10, then 15, and so on. Acclaim tends to reach a cap the higher number of bred animals per species, so breeding evenly will maximize your acclaim gain.
Don’t buy too much too soon. In early levels, pace your purchases out slowly until you have about a billion or more banked safely. Once you reach this point, if you’ve been following these tips, you will often find your profit is so high you won’t need to worry about how much money you’re spending.
