Monterey county is notorious for cool ocean breezes and icy rain storms. While a beautiful and artistic place to live, it is sometimes difficult to find children’s activities to do in Monterey. The Monterey area houses dozens of parks and playgrounds for children to enjoy on warm, sunny afternoons, but what about the days that it rains? There are a few movie theaters in the area, but constant television viewing isn’t good for any child.
