Andy Kim may not need to continue releasing albums due to the recurring success of his hits but you can certainly appreciate his return with Happen Again.
Andy Kim is back with a new album release with 10 songs, some old and a few new ones, after more than twenty years in conjunction with his new tour. Andy Kim was a pop rock hit during the late 60’s and early 70’s and continued to slowly release hits for years only to take a 20 year break.
As a young musical writer and singer he wrote a number one hit with Rock Me Gently that rose Andy to pop rock stardom but he really seemed to shy from the public eye. Using an alias or stage name for two albums he has performed and written off and on for more than forty years.
He has a soft touch with his music that is styled as pop rock and has released several hits including Rock Me Gently, Be My Baby, How’d We Ever Get This Way? and Sugar Sugar for the Archies. Recently Andy Kim was inducted into The Hit Parade Hall of Fame with such music legends as Louis Armstrong, Buddy Holly & the Crickets and Fleetwood Mac.
His latest release is titled Happen Again with 10 songs that keep in the same style he had back with his first songs. His recent release is a mix of old and new with some songs having a deep meaning to him personally such as Someday that was written while his father was in the hospital.
Andy Kim will be touring Canada and the album’s release was sure to coincide with his tour and he has been hitting the usual television and radio venues plugging both. His latest work is just as good but with more heart and a more meaningful message in each song.
While his songs are more the type for adults who may have gone through the seventies he does have a good style and his songs really do have enough rock to be enjoyable to a wide audience. Andy is not one of those one hit wonders and one can only wonder why he has shied away from the public so often.
His newest album is a great one and with modern sounding songs that are gentle but with enough rhythm and beat to keep you listening and enjoying for awhile. The songs are in a great order and really shows that he has a good touch with music and his album in both writing and setting up the album.
His latest album has the following songs:
3 Days In Heaven
This Is Me
The Oh, Oh Song
I Forgot To Mention
Love Has Never Been
Happen Again plays well and is a great soft rock or pop rock album that is perfect back ground music for a quiet evening at home or while working on something else. While this is not exactly something that you can rock down to it certainly is nice music for easy listening enjoyment.
Andy has a soft smooth voice and really does know how to sing well and write the songs from his heart which makes all the difference when writing this type of music. The album is well worth a purchase and you can even find it as a free download. The cost is worth it to have a good original copy or even a signed autographed copy for only $15 for the CD or $20 for the signed copy.
Andy Kim Happen Again is a great pop rock album and really takes the 60’s and 70’s pop rock music to modern times to prove the classic style never gets old. I highly recommend you check out Andy Kim and his latest release Happen Again at his website AndyKimMusic.com.
