If you didn’t experience a mild sense of déjà vu while watching Episode 7 of MTV’s The Hills last night then you’re probably fairly new to the show which is now on its final season. The cast, sans Speidi, had no choice but to return to their old tricks once again. Justin Bobby is tempting Audrina, Audrina’s falling for it…again; Kristin’s going to war with yet another girl; and Brody is, true to form, playing two girls off each other.
MTV’s The Hills, Final Season: Episode 7 Recap (Audrina, Ryan, and Justin Bobby)
Audrina went running back to Justin after the two reconnected last week’s for the first time in several weeks, and poor Ryan was left wondering what the heck had happened. I think any guy hoping to take Audrina on better just bank on the relationship ending until Audrina hits bottom with Justin and finally lets go. To be honest, at this point I think it would take something on the level of Justin getting married to someone else (or something of that nature) to finally put an end to Justin and Audrina.
MTV’s The Hills, Final Season: Episode 7 Recap (Brody, McKaela, and Kristin)
Looks like Brody and McKaela are officially off, and Kristin has her friend with benefits back; can anyone say they’re shocked? Brody practically makes a career out of acting like a pompous jerk and treating women like dirt (uuugh). When will Brody learn the lesson that there’s always someone smarter, someone hotter, and someone richer; get over yourself.
McKaela didn’t take the falling out with Brody too well and showed slight signs of a rabbit boiler personality (Glen Close, Fatal Attraction) when she kept calling and trying to casually “run into” him around town. McKaela did finally catch up with Brody out and about at Bar210 for Stephanie’s birthday party and the gang was not pleased that McKaela came with Allie Lutz in tow. Everyone, with Kristin and Brody at the fore, made clear that Allie was not welcome.
Following the tense meet up at Bar210, McKaela requested that Kristin meet with her to talk about the situation, to which, Kristin showed up and stayed just long enough to warn McKaela against continuing to pursue Brody and keeping Allie as a friend; then she finished her drink and left. I’d be happy if McKaela would go and not come back as well; she seems sweet enough and all, but she is working overtime to be a carbon copy of Lauren Conrad.
MTV’s The Hills, Final Season: Episode 7 Recap (Next Week, Episode 8)
Previews indicate that Allie Lutz will indeed be back next week, so tune in to The Hills on MTV next Tuesday at 10 pm to see Kristin, Allie, and McKaela duke it out. Here’s hoping Holly gets some more face time next week as well.
