Danny K’s is similar to the OC Sports Grill but more of a bar than a restaraunt. Old school best describes this bar and cafe just a mile from Angels Stadium. The owner, Danny Kuykendall is a pool player and the bar features plenty of tables. The food is typical bar food fare but it is perfect if you are planning on a night drinking. Angel Stadium is a short cab ride from Danny K’s.
Plan the night out right and take a cab from the hotel to Danny K’s and schedule them to pick up and drop off at Angels Stadium. Leave plenty of time for traffic. Danny K’s is approximately one mile East of Angels Stadium, just off Katella Avenue.
Mr Stox 1105 E Katella Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92805.
Mr Stox is perfect for those looking to dine in style before attending the Major League Baseball All Star Game. Mr Stox is possibly the most expensive choice near Angels Stadium but well worth it. View the menus for Mr Stox lunch and dinner. The choices range from wild Alaskan King Salmon to Duck. Mr Stox is located about a mile from Angels Stadium and a short cab ride to the entrance down Katella Avenue.
El Torito Mexican Restaurant 1801 E Katella Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92805.
El Torito is located a stones throw away from Angels Stadium and within walking distance. For those that are feeling a craving for Mexican food on All Star Game Tuesday, make sure to arrive early this location will be packed. The menu is typical Mexican fare and better than the average Mexican restaurant. It is a chain, as their website does show several sister restaurants. Best best on All Star day is to arrive about 2 pm and after an early dinner walk across to Angels Stadium.

The area close to Angels Stadium has choices from the typical fast food restaurants such McDonalds, Panda Express and Carls Jr to the more upscale restaurants towards Disneyland. Whatever choice is made, make sure to leave plenty of time before the All Star Game and the best bet is to take a cab to avoid any parking hassles.
