by itchyfish

The Disney Channel’s final season of the popular show, Hannah Montana, starring Miley Cyrus, premiers on Sunday, July 11 at 8/7 central. After four years of Miley Cyrus maintaining a busy career, as a real life pop star and television actress, it will be interesting to see how things evolve in the next stages of her life.

The final season of the show, Hannah Montana Forever will detail Miley moving from Malibu (with her dad and brother) to a new ranch.

In addition to the Stewart’s family new digs, the upcoming season will welcome new guest stars including Sheryl Crow, Jay Leno, Kelly Ripa, Ray Liotta and Christine Taylor. However, the biggest change in the series’ final episodes will be Miley’s graduation from high school, and her struggle to figure out her next move.

Although Miley’s character on Disney’s Hannah Montana is the epitome of squeaky clean teen respectability, her real life celebrity receives varied examination from the media. For Disney stars like Miley Cyrus, who simply want to live their lives as teenagers, it has to be challenging to operate under the constant media attention and scrutiny from fans.

On a weekly basis, we hear of some new Miley Cyrus happening — giving a lapdance, spending $24,000 on new hair extensions or doing something else, that some may deem as questionable behavior for a 17-year old.

Of course, when you are a Disney phenomenon, anything that goes against the “cookie cutter” image is considered going against the grain.

Real life Miley has quickly transitioned into living as a young woman with an entirely “adult” image, and she exists as media fodder due to the Hannah Montana/Disney affiliation. Miley’s life is fascinating to so many people, because of the contrasting images presented to us — Miley Stewart on TV vs. Miley Cyrus in real life.

It is difficult for people to not expect both versions of Miley to be one in the same, when the images presented to the media are so directly intertwined.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times —
“Yes, I want to be a role model and have people look up to me,” says Cyrus. “But this also doesn’t mean that I am not going to live the way that I want to live, or what I think is right.” So brace yourself for the moral judgment of Miley, who admits that she has the jailbait anthem “Cherry Bomb” as her ringtone.

Did you already hear about one of her next big projects? Miley will be acting on the big screen again — this time in a remake of the French teen movie “LOL,” which features drinking, doing drugs and much more.
