I want to share a few tips for putting together an inexpensive gift basket for boys with you. But not a toy gift basket. I’m thinking items for boys who are a little older or are not into toys. The tips I want to share include what items you could you and what stores you can check to find them at.
Gift baskets are easy to find, and depending where you go, you have a good choice of what to buy. You can get them in different sizes, small, medium, or large. You can find them in a round or square shape. For materials, you can use a woven gift basket or hard gift baskets (such as buckets). You can also look for seasonal or holiday gift baskets, which will you a choice of more colors and patterns.
There are quite a few places to go when you want to look for gift baskets. I would suggest The Dollar Tree (great if you want to purchase more than one, as they are only a dollar), Wal-Mart, Target, Big Lots, Five Below, and The Family Dollar.
The Tissue Paper.
Using tissue paper in a gift basket is optional. This section is for anyone who does want to use it. You can find tissue paper in different packs, colors, and patterns. This is good, as you have a wide variety of choices and can get what you need. I usually check The Dollar Tree, Five Below, The Family Dollar, Wal-Mart, and Target. You can usually find packs of tissue paper for a dollar or a little over a dollar.
It’s not hard to find the items for a boys’ gift basket, as you can find many items for reasonable prices. You can do trading cards, such as Magic, sports, pro-wrestling, etc. Electronic accessories, such as cell phone or MP3 cases, handheld game cases, and headphones. There are sports and outdoors things such as baseballs, water bottles, and squirt guns. General items can include sunglasses, hats, books, playing cards, stickers, key chains, and candy. All of this will depend on the boy, his age, and interests. You can mix everything up or put the basket together as a theme. Of course, the lists of items I posted are not limited to those, and you can add whatever you want.
While it may seem like a lot of items, you can still find them at different stores for decent prices. The stores include The Dollar Tree, Five Below, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Big Lots, Target, Rite-Aid, and The Family Dollar. There are more places to check than that, as a lot of these items and more can be found in many stores for reasonable prices.
All of these items put together will create an inexpensive boys’ gift basket that was fun, easy, and budget-friendly to put together!
