Lost Season 6 Episode 14 could disclose The Candidate to replace Jacob. After all, Lost Season 6 Episode 14 stars the leading Candidate, Jack, who is now all alone against the smoke monster. But even if it’s too early for The Candidate to be revealed, it’s just one of many things that will have to be answered this month. After all, there’s only five more hours left before the whole show ends, so the rush has truly begun to check off answers, and reveal destinies. However, Lost Season 6 Episode 14 might give “The Candidate” a bit less competition, as things could start to get bloody.
Warning: Spoilers ahead.
It’s been two weeks since Jack chose not to leave the island, and confront the new version of John Locke instead. The other survivors didn’t make out any better, as they are now prisoners of Charles Widmore. As such, the monster must act quick if he’s to leave with the candidates, and now Jack’s the only one that can help him.
Lost Season 6 Episode 14 stands to be the payoff of two Jack-Locke reunions. “The Candidate” has island Jack delve deeper into the mystery of the monster, and whether the real John Locke was right about the island. And in sideways time, Jack must save the last living version of Locke who isn’t the monster – while both Helen and Anthony Cooper await word.
With sideways Jack and Locke needing to remember their island lives soon, Lost Season 6 Episode 14 could break the biggest barriers yet between worlds. But while Locke probably won’t die in sideways time, “The Candidate” might have more than enough death on the island to make up for it.
The promos and teasers for the episode are very ominous, and could hint at the first real smoke monster attack in several weeks. Advance buzz for Lost Season 6 Episode 14 suggests a lot of death – and the promos hint that Kate could be particularly vulnerable, since Widmore seems to know she isn’t a candidate.
Fans laughed at Ilana blowing herself up, but “The Candidate” may have deaths that are far less enjoyable. With the finale almost here, the death and destruction will now get harder to watch – as if fans aren’t getting sad enough to see the end.
However, that may not mean Lost Season 6 Episode 14 will be a bad thing to watch. Additional advance buzz indicates this may be among the highest rated shows of the season, alongside “Ab Aeterno” and “Happily Ever After” And with next week looking to be the origin story of the whole series, a lot of major revelations and teasers may loom ahead.
Lost Season 6 Episode 14 may or may not reveal The Candidate, but a lot is bound to happen anyway, starting at 9 p.m. tonight on ABC.
