The preview from last week about the wild drinking party was a bit misleading. I thought Emmalin would at least get ripped. She didn’t. All that happened was a girl got alcohol poisoning from drinking one bottle of alcohol. Emmalin drove her to the hospital.
Of course Lenore used the news about Emmalin as ammunition to get Claudia Joy’s goat. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Lenore, please get a life. Stop worrying about the whereabouts of people’s teenage daughters who are probably having more fun than you are.
Claudia Joy told Lenore not to involve her family in Lenore’s personal grudge against her. Way to stand up for yourself CJ! All that was missing was a bitch slap.
CJ and Lenore competed for the big army spouse service award thingamajigga. Pamela rigged up the microphone at the awards ceremony to make Lenore look like the jerk that she really is. Lenore bad talked CJ without knowing that her mike was on, and everyone in the room heard her. Eat that, Lenore. After CJ collected the award, we got to see a more human side of Lenore. Lenore pretty much admitted to CJ that she is jealous because CJ has friends and Lenore has ‘followers.’ What a dumb thing to be jealous of. If Lenore would stop acting like a bat outta hell, then maybe she could make friends.
Roland’s crazy on-the-run psychologist friend came back. You remember him doncha? The one the FBI came looking for last season? He came back to ask Roland for money. Roland’s all, ‘What do I do? I don’t wanna commit a felony.’ Roland turned the guy in. Good for him.
Roxy and Trevor told T.J. and Finn about the pregnancy. The boys weren’t excited about it. It was kinda funny. Roxy and Trevor are so annoying that I rejoice whenever something doesn’t go as planned for them. It turns out the boys are already jealous of the unborn baby. They’re afraid their dad will love it more than them. So the family had a hallmark moment where the parents told the boys how much they love them.
Joan is still in the hospital in Germany. She meets up with a fellow patient who’s missing an arm as a result of a war injury. Joan shared a connection with her.
The preview for next week looks good. Pam is still considering divorce. If she goes through with it, then she’ll have to move off post and lose all of her army benefits. Writers, please don’t let her stay with him just for the financial security! She can get a job. Hell, she could go back to being a cop. I have a sneaking suspicion they’ll keep her with Chase so that the character can stay on the show. I suspect they did the same with Denise last year when she had an out in left field affair. It seems that they won’t break up any of the marriages because they don’t want to lose the main characters, which is problematic.
