Leftists Protest G-20 and Riots Result. Gee, Are There Tea Partiers There Too?

by itchyfish

Have ya seen the pictures? Leftist protesters setting cop cars on fire? And as Fox News is reporting, “hundreds arrested” during all the festivities. The Fox report credited to the AP says “Police made more than 400 arrests after black-clad demonstrators broke off from a crowd of peaceful protesters at the global economic summit and went on a rampage in downtown Toronto that lasted into the early morning hours, authorities said Sunday.”

The AP byline story continues with “The roving band of protesters torched four police cruisers and shattered shop windows with baseball bats and hammers for blocks, including at police headquarters, then shed some of their black clothes, revealing other garments, and continued their rampage.”

So it would seem there are indeed violent protesters in the world. And it would seem they are leftists, and since Tea Partier’s are decidedly NOT leftists by definition, well, you do the math.

In the history of modern protesting, can anyone find a single instance of violent protesters being form the right? And no one better try and claim Nazi’s cause Nazi’s were socialists and that is a leftmost position.

Of course the parliamentary player may wish to claim the violent militia types are a representation of rightmost violence, but militia types are tiny fringe groups that do not usually do a whole lot of protesting, but they are potentially violent. Some might wish to claim the Ku Klux Klan are rightists, and they may be, but to claim them as mainstream would be like me claiming all Democrats are violent because a few radical anarchists are lefties and I am not making that claim.

But still it is very demonstrative when we see more than 400 have been arrested protesting the G-20. The AP story also discusses previous violence at G-20 & G-8 meetings. One man was killed at the London G-20 protest in 2009. And “In 1999, 50,000 protesters shut down World Trade Organization sessions in Seattle as police fired tear gas and rubber bullets. There were some 600 arrests and $3 million in property damage,” the story reports.

Okay, there’s the factual evidence of leftist violence. Now let’s put that to a comparison of the Tea Party rallies. I know of two instances of violence. The first was the Black conservative hawking bumper stickers and buttons OUTSIDE of a Democrat legislator’s Town Hall meeting last year. Remember? The SEIU union thugs in their purple SEIU T-shirts assaulted the man calling him the N word and beating him? Caught on cell phone video? Remember that one? Yeah.

And the only other instance of violence to my knowledge was outside of another Town Hall meeting for another Democrat lawmaker when a leftist protester charged an older gentleman and when the old fella raised his hands to ward off the charge his finger was bitten off by the lefty. Hmmmm….

Keep in mind the 2 million folks in DC last year. No violence. No arrests. They even cleaned up their own trash. And as the Park Service employee who did not want to go on the record said, “largest crowd I have ever seen in my near 20 years, and they were the most orderly and polite I’d ever seen too.” (paraphrased) SO what to make of this then?

I offer his piece in anticipation of the August 28 rally Glenn Beck will be holding on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial this Summer. How many will come? Who knows, but whatcha wanna bet there are leftist counter protesters there trying to stir up trouble? We’ll see, now won’t we. Anyone taking bets some lefties and media types will begin – well before the events – to claim fear of violent right wingers and other sundry BS?

When facts and truth are put to the test seems what my side represents is order, common courtesy, the Golden Rule and the rule of law. When lefties do their protest thing it almost always erodes to violence, general mayhem and lawlessness.

Keep your eyes and ears out for this during this very hot Summer’s happenings. I think when the dust settles the facts will 100% bear out my contentions. And BTW, it’s going to be 102 in Richmond today, Sunday the 27th, and guess what . . . my AC fan motor burned up yesterday when it was 98 or so. It’s as hot as the souls of Beelzebub’s feet up in here today. Y’all stay cool.
