Comedians You Should Know
This group of comedians is known as Chicago’s funniest stand-up. No joke. Laugh til you cry, (ladies, did you bring those tissues?), every Wednesday at 9 p.m. at Timothy O’Toole’s. 622 N. This comedy, 125- seat theatre, formerly known as the ImprovOlympic, has a cast that presents skits based on audience participation. It’s really fun and the interaction is great! Juz Jokkin Comedy Club
Located in Waukegan, up in the north burbs of Chicagoland, this club offers stand-up, open mic, and spoken word Wednesday through Saturdays. Popular comedians appear here, as well as hot, new local talent. Think you got a knack for cracking jokes? Thursday is your night for the spotlight. Go for it! Comedy Sports, a short-form improv, is going strong now for 22 years. Audience participation is a must. You may be selected to join the cast in scenes on stage. Great fun for families.
