Lake Winnepesaukah, near Chattanooga, Tennessee, has been providing family fun for over 85 years. The name Lake Winnepesaukah is an Indian word meaning ‘bountiful waters’ or ‘beautiful lake of the highlands’. Over the years the amusement park has come to be known as “Lake Winnie”.

Lake Winnie is just over the border from Chattanooga, TN on Lakeview Drive, Rossville, GA. It is located 6 miles from Chattanooga, 105 miles south of Knoxville, or 115 miles north of Atlanta. How much does it cost to visit Lake Winnie?
Gate admission is $5. No one under 18 allowed without a parent or chaperon. Kids under 2 years of age get in free. Parking is always free.
Ticket rides are additional. An unlimited all-day ride pass is $21, individual ride tickets are $1 each. Rides cost anywhere from 2 to 5 ride tickets. Value strip tickets are $13 for 14 tickets.
When is Lake Winnie open?

LakeWinnie general information
There is an ATM machine at the gift shop. Visa, MasterCard and Discover card are accepted at the gate, gift shop and café. All guests must wear shirts and shoes at all times. You may bring a picnic basket and a cooler to the picnic grove area. No grills, glass containers, or electrical items such as radios are allowed. Service animals are allowed and must be on a leash or harness at all times. There are specified smoking areas available. Wheelchairs are allowed, but not provided.
