Kristen Stewart put in an appearance on the “Lopez Tonight” on June 30th with her real father. Well, to be accurate, Kristen’s dad is always on George Lopez’s show because he works there. At least I hope that’s true. You find out some weird stuff on “Lopez Tonight” like Charles Barkley being blacker than Snoop Dogg, and it is, after all a comedy show, so sometimes I’m not really sure if George is kidding or not. I checked it out on the “Lopez Tonight website” and it is true.
Kristen’s real dad, John, works as stage manager on the show. Kristen came out with a strapless black dress. George noticed her auburn hair being shorter than in the movie. George Lopez asked if it was widely known that she was wearing a wig in “Eclipse.” Kristen said it was true and she was offered many “ridiculous things” not to cut her hair. Lopez quipped: “Besides money?”
In an installment of “Twilight’s Got Talent,” Kristen Stewart showed off her juggling skills. Later in the show, Billy Burke (Bella’s father, Charlie Swan) and Julia Jones (the only girl wolf) from Twilight came out and showed their talents. Billy Burke also whipped out a false mustache, like the one he wears in the movie, and George and Julia got in on that act.

The funniest part of “Lopez Tonight” was in the beginning. George said “when you think of the BET Awards, you immediately think of Cambodian donut shop owners,” so he sent his good friends, Tech and Betty of Donut Prince, to the red carpet at the BET Awards to try to find out why they don’t give out awards for donuts. They asked Boris Kodjoe (“Undercovers”) why and he said he would raise the question because it’s just “unacceptable.” Tech asked actress Tatyana Ali (“Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”) and R&B singer, LeToya Luckett. The ladies thought donuts should get awards, too. Tech spied Todd Bridges and said “Holy $#!@, Todd Bridges,” Comedian Tony Rock asked if he could really eat them, and Tech said “Oh sure, it’s good. Can you give one to Pootie Tang?” Omarosa got herself a donut. When Quinton Aaron (“Blind Side”) showed up, Tech said “Quick, hide the donuts,” then he asked Quinton if he could beat up Todd Bridges for him because Todd stole his donut. As Ray J told Tech he couldn’t really understand what Tech was saying because “your accent is strong,” Fergie strolled by. Tech told Carmelo Anthony if he played bad against the Lakers, Tech would give him a donut.
Tech and Betty were so funny and good at this that I thought they were really comedians. Obviously, I missed the June 1st “Lopez Tonight” show where George first trained them and sent them out to the MTV Awards to do the donut shtick.
