According to Yahoo News, the conspiracy and extortion case against two John Stamos’ accusers is now being heard in U.S. District Court and, surprise surprise, as John Stamos and his lawyers predicted, the two accusers have absolutely no evidence of Stamos doing cocaine or doing anything illegal with a minor. In fact, it looks like, the couple were simply involved in a scam to steal almost $700,000 from Stamos. Liar, liar, pants on fire?
Honestly, when you hear about the couple, Allison Coss and boyfriend Scott Sippola, you first have to ask how people this stupid manage to dress themselves and function on a daily basis. Both Coss and Sippola seemed to think they could offer to sell John Stamos incriminating photos that didn’t exist and accuse him of immoral acts with a 17 year old girl (Coss herself) in a supposed hot tub incident more than 6 years ago. In return, Stamos would hand over a big wad of cash. They must have been surprised when Stamos, who has maintained his innocence from day one, turned them in to the FBI.
Now in court yesterday, Allison Coss admitted she lied to Stamos about the ‘evidence’ they had but that her lies were immoral, not ‘illegal’. (I’m guessing the pair didn’t realize you can be thrown in jail for extortion and conspiracy to commit extortion?). Coss even went as far as to say she “did” have a photo of Stamos doing cocaine, but when asked by the judge where it was, Coss said it had ‘disappeared’ a week before she and Sippola were arrested. Smelling even fishier, yet?
She also admitted that, in her initial e-mail to Stamos, who she apparently knew as a casual friend (with friends like this, who needs enemies?), she had written under a pseudonym saying she was a girl Stamos had impregnated at age 17. Stamos, of course, ignored this as it wasn’t true, so the stupid couple hatched another plan – photos, cocaine and hot tub.
What makes this case even more stupid is Allison Coss has a degree in Criminal Justice and had, apparently, researched the ramifications of extortion but thought she and her boyfriend were doing no wrong. Where did she get her degree in Criminal Justice? The University of Let’s-Be-Total-Scumbags-And-Not-Get-Caught?
And the couple’s lawyer’s excuse for their behavior? This wasn’t “extortion just a business transaction”. Only if you’re in the Mafia.
John Stamos himself testified in the case on Tuesday. He said once Coss started threatening him with a story about photos including strippers, cocaine and alcohol and asked for $680,000 he felt “threatened, violated…I felt this was illegal,” he told the court, and that’s when he went to the authorities.
The judge in the case said yesterday the case would likely get to the jury for their decision by Thursday but it’s not going to take a rocket scientist to see which way this court case will likely go.
