“I took a pretty amazing life and marriage and threw it away,” James tells “Nightline.”
Jesse’s affairs weren’t just with Michelle McGee. He’s been linked to cheating on at least four other women while being married to Bullock. What his responses to “Nightline’s” questions will be hold a lot of interest.
It fascinates people how someone can cheat on a woman of Sandra’s stature. Not only that, but for Jesse to cheat with completely opposite types of women than what his wife stands for.
Jesse James will have at least one tearful confession in the “Nightline” interview. Questions stemming from the interview reveal how the public headlines have changes his name from “James to Mud,” according to The New York Post.
“I think [I’m] the most hated man in the world now,” he tells “Nightline” on Tuesday.
When “Nightline” asked Jesse, “You cheated on your wife?” he admitted, “Yup.”
In the “Nightline” interview promo clip released by ABC, Jesse James got tearful and needed a quick break, “Let me take a break for a few seconds,” he said softly.
Perhaps one of the most emotional parts of the “Nightline” interview for Jesse will be discussing the adoption of baby Louis Bardo Bullock. He was in the baby’s life everyday before the cheating scandal broke after Sandra Bullock won her Oscar for Best Actress in “The Blind Side.” They adopted the child just three months before the headlines reached stratospheric levels in the media.
In April, after laying low for several weeks, Sandra Bullock filed for divorce from Jesse upon his return from rehab and announced her adoption of baby Louis.
The outpouring of publicity almost seemed as if Sandra adopted the baby on her own, until you read the fine print that the baby had been a secret she and Jesse harbored for months.
What is Sandra’s reaction to Jesse James’ tearful confessions on “Nightline”? According to The New York Post, her reps haven’t returned any requests for comment. However, in a People article, she said their current relationship as “a different one. A bittersweet one. One of new understanding. One of forgiveness. One of support for his recovery.”
Jesse James’ reaction to to Sandra Bullock was in a statement he made after the article.
“The decision to let my wife end our marriage and continue the adoption of Louis on her own has been the hardest. The love I have for Louis cannot be put into words,” he’s quoted as saying. “Sandy is the love of my life,” Jesse continued. “But considering the pain and devastation I have caused her, it would be selfish not to let her go. Right now it is time for me to beat this addiction.”
“I ask that you please do not judge Sandy for the things I have done. She has done no wrong,” he added.
Sandra Bullock has moved to New Orleans with baby Louis in an effort to move forward with her life. Whether she watches the “Nightline” interview with Jesse James is unknown. If she does, will she have a response to it publicly?
