Gingerbread Kitchen Wall Basket
1 small wall basket
1 medium wooden heart
1 small wooden gingerbread man
White marker pen
Light brown paint
Bunch of eucalyptus
Bunch of German statice
Bunch of burgundy baby’s breath
1. Cover your work area with a plastic bag or small tarp. Pour a small amount of burgundy paint in a bowl or on an old dish. Paint the first side of the wooden heart with the burgundy paint. Let dry. Paint the other side of the heart. Let dry.
2. Pour a small amount of the light tan paint into an old bowl. Paint the first side of the wooden gingerbread man with the light tan paint. Let dry. Paint the other side of the gingerbread man. Let dry. Pour some white paint in an old bowl, then dip the tip of the toothpick into the white paint. Paint a wavy line at the top of the gingerbread man’s head, where the arms end, and across the feet. If you need more white paint, replenish by dipping the end of the toothpick in the white paint. Then make a white dot on each cheek of the gingerbread man’s face. Pour a little black paint in the bowl. Using another toothpick, make two dots for the gingerbread man’s eyes. Then make a smile with the black paint. Pour a small amount of burgundy paint in a small bowl. Using another toothpick, make two small hearts, one below the other, on the front stomach of the gingerbread man. Lightly, rub a little of the burgundy paint below the white dots on the cheeks of the gingerbread man. Let dry.
3. Glue the gingerbread man slightly angled to the bottom, left side of the heart. Using the white marker, write the word “cookies” above the gingerbread man, then write “5 cents” on the side of the gingerbread man.
4. Glue a piece of floral foam to the inside of the small wall basket. Place eucalyptus in the foam of the wall basket. Place the highest piece at the center, with the floral arrangement forming a half circle. Make sure the wall basket is full. Evenly distribute the German statice and burgundy filler throughout the arrangement. Glue the heart on the front, center of the wall basket.
