How to Lead a Glamorous Life

by itchyfish

You can lead a glamorous life regardless of how much money you have. You don’t have to be a celebrity – in fact, there are few truly glamorous celebrities these days. You just need a little ingenuity and an understanding of what real glamor is. It’s more than rhinestones and limo drivers.

A glamorous life is one that other people envy. People who lead glamorous lives are usually very interesting and a lot of other people want to be around them.

#1. A glamorous life is one full of travel. But, don’t worry, if you’re feeling grounded by all of the psychotic airport security personnel these days, you’re not alone. Lots of glamorous people are refusing to fly. Even if you don’t have a private jet, you can still lead a glamorous life by getting to know people from foreign countries who live around you. It’s like traveling without having to get on a plane.

You can even begin learning a foreign language. Have your new friends help you. Get some audios of the language you want to learn. It’s the next best thing to traveling to Europe or some other exotic location and immersing yourself in the language. Bone up on the culture and the history, as well.

#2. Never go out without being dressed. Glamorous people are always dressed well. Even if you’re just engaging in the drudgery of grocery shopping, always look your best. Put on your rings, your bracelets, necklaces and flashy earrings. Make sure your shirts and slacks are neatly pressed.

Get a nice tailored jacket that you can throw over anything. You can even wear it with jeans and still look dressed to the nines.

Ladies, never go out without make-up. You never know who you might see.

#3. Take care of yourself from the inside out. Make sure you get your vitamins, juice your raw veggies and get your exercise in. Do it every day you can.

Don’t skimp on sleep. Stay hydrated. Use plenty of moisturizers to keep your skin in the best condition possible.

#4. Be social. Be seen. Even if you can’t afford the most expensive clothes, go to those boutiques, anyway. Get out and go for a walk in the ritziest area in town. Is there a church in town where all the hot shots go? That’s the one you want to attend, to. At every opportunity, network with people who have money. Go to all the places where the people with money go.

Don’t go to dingy bars. Join a club, instead. Do something to improve your mind and expand your social circle full of other interesting people.

#5. Keep your house clean and in order. Don’t blow your image when people come to visit. Make sure the house is neat and tidy. Make your bed every day. Keep the clothes picked up off the floor. Don’t be a pack rat.

#6. Use your imagination. Imagine that your life is glamorous and it will be glamorous. Always behave as though you are being watched. Watch your own gestures, facial expressions, how you walk and how you look at a distance.

Above all, if you have some elements in your life that are not glamorous, strive to improve them. Eliminate the ugly and focus on the beautiful in every way. Try to treat others with respect, just as you would like to be treated. Soon, other people will notice how glamorous you’ve become and you will become even more glamorous than before.
