The weight loss secrets you need to know are being kept from common knowledge by the multi-billion dollar weight loss industry. You have likely seen more than a few commercials, as well as magazine and news ads about how this new way can help you lose weight just by doing a simple this or that. Of course, the this and that are all about their product.
You know as well as I do that they have no real interest in your health, all they want is to get you to spend your money on their product. You might want to avoid the mistakes I made of trying one diet after another and not having any real lasting results. What may work for me might not work for you, and what worked for that supermodel on TV definitely did not work for me.
One secret that they will not tell you
All the weight loss plans out there insist that you have to cut the calories. While this may be true, it is out of context. If you eat constantly, and do not have any activity of any kind then yes you will gain weight. But, if you are active and you cut the calories you will not lose weight as advertised. You may maintain your weight, but there will not be any weight loss.
This may cause you to think poorly of yourself, that you could not lose weight with the number one plan in the universe to lose weight. You bought their product, and followed directions. If you are like me, it just did not work. Maybe only super models can use that diet correctly.
The information that they leave out is about the timing of your eating. They tell you that you need to eat correctly, but the “correctly” part is more about timing than content. You see, I love my cheeseburgers, and to give them up was hard. Every time I went to the fast food place and got my cheeseburger fix, I would feel guilty that I had destroyed my diet, but I was just so hungry for a cheeseburger, and the thought of one more piece of eggplant made me want to scream.
You can have your cake and eat it too
The eating correctly part of all weight loss advice should tell us more about timing than what a balanced nutritious diet is. Sure good nutrition is important, but so are cheeseburgers.
The secret is all about eating at the right times of the day so that your body burns the calories you take in. For me to eat a cheeseburger just before bedtime is asking for all those calories will go straight to my fat and stay there.
Now there is a secret that you probably already knew; do not eat and go to bed.
Seems common sense, yet when compared to the love of the cheeseburger may likely be ignored. So in comes the second and least publicized secret. A little self-control goes a lot further, and is cheaper than any amount of diet pills.
Now I hate to admit it, but I used to stop at the drive through on the way home, and then eat my cheeseburgers before going to bed. Of course, I may have had a “slight” weight problem. (Wink wink)
Now I save the cheeseburgers for lunch. Saves me tons of time, allows me my cheeseburger fix, and I went down a whole waist size just by changing the time of day that I eat.
You can lose weight, just change the times of day that you eat your big high calorie stuff.
